Catty Claws and Fashion Faux Pas: The Bold and the Beautiful Two Scoops For the Week of March 16th

The Bold and the Beautiful has gone all in on Miss Dylan, and at this point, she's one of the only somewhat likable characters left on the canvas. Beyond Dylan, it was another week of the Forresters (and Brooke) going out of their way to make everything about themselves, their wants, and their needs. After another week of listening to the out-of-touch first family of fashion, it's time to break it all down, two scoops style.

Electra (Laneya Grace) might be the worst Forrester of them all. Considering how unlikable that entire family is, that's saying a lot. Her turn toward the dark side has been a slow burn stemming back to her reaction to Luna's (Lisa Yamada) sexual assault against Will (Crew Morrow). However, the increased presence of Miss Dylan (Sydney Bullock) has brought out the true nastiest in Electra. This week was no different, as her privilege and obliviousness to the real world were on full display during her heated confrontation with Dylan.

The entire argument was Electra essentially saying to Dylan, "I know you're homeless and you need this job to survive, but you danced in front of my boyfriend and wore a bikini to swim, so you're the devil." Every moment that Electra opened her mouth was another example of how out of touch she truly is. The family as a whole is somewhat like that, but Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) at least has some semblance of decency toward Dylan and wants to help her better her life. Electra and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) are completely willing to send Dylan back to a life of homelessness just because of Electra's insecurity and Ivy's obsession with proper behavior.

Big sister, bigger ego

Despite everything that Ivy and Electra are putting Dylan through over at Forrester Creations, perhaps nobody on The Bold and the Beautiful displayed a bigger ego this week than Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). First of all, it makes absolutely no sense that everyone is so up in arms over Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie (Heather Tom) using Eric's (John McCook) designs for Logan. They hired him to create a collection after he sought them out as his next employer.

Once Bill and Katie paid Eric for his talents, they became the rightful owners of that intellectual property. Brooke, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and even Eric shouldn't be surprised that a business would operate as such. Eric's sudden desire to forgive his son doesn't negate the agreement he made with Spencer. For Brooke to stand there after the press viewing and refer to Logan as a "disgusting little fashion house" was uncalled for and another example of why Katie left Forrester in the first place.

Brooke was fine with championing her sister's success as long as her sister remained less successful than she was. The very moment that Katie opted to step out of her sister's shadow, Brooke took issue with it. From day one, Brooke has found a way to make Katie feel like trash, and she's proven to be a despicable person.
