Who's zoomin' who here on The Bold and the Beautiful? That's what our two medical detectives want to know. Maybe Steffy should have informed Carter that both of her mothers-in-law could become a problem. She forgot to mention that Finn's adoptive mother is just as much a barracuda as his birth mother.
Finn could barely get past his rage to see the infeasibility of his wife's little story, but Li can smell a rat a mile away. She is just not quite sure what she is smelling at the moment, but away we go...
Say What?

It was glorious to watch Finn rage at his wife last week and finally, FINALLY let loose after years of abuse. Since the day they met six years ago, he has been cheated on, ordered around, lied to, left... It doesn't matter how accommodating Finn has been to Steffy; she always finds another reason to bring him down.
But it was more glorious to see the look on Li's face when Finn told her that while he was away, Steffy had a fertilized egg implanted inside her, essentially yesterday. Do not tell this medical professional who hid not just one, but two supposedly dead people and brought them back to life that such a thing was possible.
Typically, a woman would have to go through months of testing to make sure their womb and hormones were even ready for such a thing. Then, the embryos would have to be made and grow for at least a few days. Yes, Li asserted, something seemed rather off here. (Ya think?)
And then the heartbeat...the piece de resistance of this whole thing. Not only did Steffy produce enough pregnancy hormone overnight for it to show up on a pregnancy test, but her miracle embryo already has a strong heartbeat. Oh, the looks on Li's and Finn's faces. What sorcery is this?!?!?
And then there's Daphne, so desperate for Carter Walton's baby that she'll believe any such nonsense shoved down her throat. Everyone in Finn's office knew darn well something weird and bizarre was going on, but Daphne was completely oblivious, thanking her sister for her generosity the selfless and virtuous Steffy, who just can't cheat without getting pregnant. Sigh.
Steffy's Tongue is Still With the Cat

Despite the fact that it was all Carter's idea to use Steffy as an incubator to excuse his cheating and provide his wife with a baby, nobody forced Steffy to go along with this nonsense. She could have told Finn about her romp with Carter immediately and never had to tell him this pregnancy lie. She chose this.
And Steffy also chose to sit there silently as Li ran a Doppler across her belly and heard an unusually strong heartbeat when she shouldn't have heard a heartbeat at all at this point. She looked ridiculous not saying a word, but she also looked like the incubator Carter wants her to be, which makes the situation, oh, so much worse.
Enter Sheila Carter

Sheila is not a part of this yet, but her flight to Monaco and her missing toes set this whole thing into motion, so we know she'll be back. And when Li and Sheila team up to get to the bottom of things, woo boy, Steffy better watch out.
All those years of Steffy ordering Finn around are going to come back to bite her when Sheila gets wind of the truth. Between the Drs. Finnegan and their birth mother and BFF, Steffy won't know what hit her lying, hypocritical, self-righteous self and it will be a long time coming.
Did She Learn From the Master?

Steffy would like to think that Brooke had nothing to do with her upbringing, but maybe a little bit o' Brooke rubbed off, after all. The Queen of Self-Righteous Hypocrisy reared her blonde head this week to perform one of her nastiest moves yet. She used her affair with her sister's husband to try to coerce her sister's husband into getting her sister to back down. And she saw nothing wrong with this.
She also sees nothing wrong with any of her behavior since Katie decided to branch out on her own. From declaring exclusive rights to a family last name and belittling her sister every chance she got to literally kicking her out of the family while allowing Eric to call her evil, Brooke has been nothing but a complete monster to her own sister all year.
But Brooke being Brooke is positive that Katie actually is evil and she has done nothing wrong. Far be it for Donna to tell her otherwise or Brooke might get the vapors and need another spa getaway.
And Bill listened to her. That's the kicker in all of this. Could Brooke really be all that powerful and can Bill really be all that dumb? Katie knows something is up and when she realizes what Brooke did...well, don't walk by any windows outside Forrester Creations...
Is Brooke about to get what she deserves? Will Li and Sheila figure it all out? Sound off in the comments.
