Electra Shock Therapy: The Bold and the Beautiful Two Scoops for the Week of July 27

So, what can be said about The Bold and the Beautiful's Electra that hasn't already been said on the pages of this website and the soap boxes of social media? B&B finds itself with quite a character on its hands and we think this might be an accident. But it can be a very happy accident if they play this right. A full-blown unhinged vixen has been born and her name is definitely not Miss Dylan. But at least Miss Dylan can give Little Miss Priss a run for her money.

Wait, Nothing Happened?

Will and Dylan didn't have sex. Who wasn't giving a little side eye and then maybe a little jaw drop when that tidbit was revealed? Dylan ran into the bedroom as soon as she heard Wyatt, ran out again to give Wyatt a fake name and make it appear as if Will had moved on, but they never had sex. Instead, they only sat up talking on the couch until they drifted off in the wee hours of the morning. How...sweet? But also...boring. (And apparently, a violation, but we'll get to that soon.)

Wyatt did have a point during both of his pep talks with Will this week. All Electra does is bring him sheer misery. Wyatt hasn't even met this ridiculous girl yet and even he knows that Will needs to break free of this mess like yesterday. Imagine if Wyatt witnessed the scene that was to come at the beach house. Woo boy.

"It's Not Propa"

Who isn't Dylan's biggest fan at this point? When the Ivy impersonation came and the words "It's not propa" spewed out of Dylan's mouth, that was a spit take moment for the audience if there ever was one. And it solidified Dylan as a woman you do not want to mess with. But Electra is going to mess with her anyway.

Unlike Electra, who allows old men she barely even knows to run her life, Dylan is a free spirit. And apparently, a lot of other things. As we watch her prance around the design office in her sexy little denim jumpsuit and prance around Will's living room in a nightie and a coat (like a common Steffy Forrester), we have to remember this was the same dopey art teacher who didn't bother running a background check on a girl only calling herself "Miss Sunshine" before bringing her in to teach preschoolers origami.

Let's not forget that Dylan was also the woman who mowed down Miss Sunshine, by accident, of course (so she says). Dylan was homeless for a while, too, something Electra could care less about since giving her a place to say wasn't proper. It wasn't proper at all. According to Electra. And Aunt Ivy. Oh, and Remy is Dylan's cousin. Plus, her name's not even Dylan. It's Melissa. And she "violated" Electra. And for that, Electra is going to make us all pay.

"You're My BEST. FRIEND."

Can someone teach Electra the meaning of the word friend? Cause Electra seems to think that "friend" means being good and kind to Electra, without asking for the same generosity in return. In Electra's world, friends try to kick their best friends out into the street when they have nowhere else to go because letting that very best friend stay in the room above Electra's boyfriend's is just not proper (according to Aunt Ivy, and therefore, Electra).

And the word never? Electra doesn't seem to know what that word means either. Perhaps "temporarily forever" would have been a better phrase for Electra to use when she broke up with Will for the umpteenth time. (Remember when she dumped Will for a day because Luna...violated him? That's our Electra.)

Electra saw absolutely nothing wrong with telling our artistic free spirit Dylan that she needed to stay away from Will so Electra could absorb the shock of breaking up with him again. It was all too much and Dylan must understand, right?

Oh, Electra. You dumped Will. Again. And again. And again. And they only talked. On the couch. It's ok. Your ex-boyfriend is allowed to talk to someone else when he is feeling down. But don't tell Dylan that. She got a smack across the face for just being honest. And Will? Oh, that poor boy.

Will and Katie? Run, Guys, Run

Last week, we got to watch the Forresters and Logans pile on Katie with such verbal violence that we felt wounded. This week, we learned that Electra took some lessons so she could verbally abuse Katie's son with the same mighty force. Poor Will didn't even know what to do or say.

Electra is unhinged. Full stop. Watching Will pine over this little lunatic is painful at this point because he deserves so much better. And when Electra and Will's romance started two years ago, we thought he was getting better, so that is why we ask whether this was on purpose or not?

Was Electra supposed to be the most unlikable character currently on soaps? Are we supposed to sympathize with her? Because she is highly unlikable and there is no way to sympathize with her unless or until Taylor gets her hands on her for some intense therapy.

And if Electra accidentally became the most unlikable character currently on soaps, then this show needs to just embrace it and go balls to the wall with it. Let Laneya Grace do what we know she can do and go full vixen. Because that is who Electra is and it's time to go there.

Sheila's On Her Knees

That's right. Other stuff happened. Thankfully, we were spared Brooke, Ridge, Donna, and Eric for a full week, but Steffy did visit Hope in her office to be mean to her for a few minutes while wearing a raincoat/mosquito net combo dress. (We do not understand Steffy and her raincoats, but maybe Forrester Creations really does need Hope and her "vision" if this is what they are serving up.)

Later she visited Finn...and ended up with Sheila. And Sheila ended up on her knees. And Steffy really needs to give it a rest. Yes, we know Sheila shot Steffy four years ago. During that same storyline, she even ran Li into the ocean and left her for dead. And now Li is her very best friend. Plus, last year in the same beach house where Will now lives, Sheila took a bullet for Steffy while Dylan was tied up in the broom closet.

It's time for Steffy to, at the very least, do just what Finn suggested and allow Sheila to see Finn and Hayes while Steffy is there. Maybe even call in Chief Baker for backup just in case. But let's do it, Steffy, because this is getting old.
