The Bold and the Beautiful once again proved that everything old is new again, as it moved from one arc to another and sent Brooke away to have the vapors at a spa. Of course, the new arcs look very much like the old arcs, so maybe we can rewind to a few months ago and just hit play again. Or, we can dig in with two big scoops and unpack the week that was with our favorite fictional LA fashion families.

Electra's Not That Complex

Electra can't believe that Will would do such a thing to her and not respect her delicate feelings...again. First, he had the gall to allow her homeless "best friend" to live in his room above the garage and then he tried to protect his job by not revealing company secrets. That's it. It's official. Will is now the most horrible boyfriend on soaps and in real life. How could he do that to poor, put upon Electra of the "This is my world and you can't have it" speeches to her homeless best friend.

So, did anyone actually have sympathy for Electra as she stomped her feet and pouted about her jewelry line being put on hold as her mother had just died (would she even care if that happened?). How could he not TELL her something that he had no control over? Surely, just by knowing, Electra could have mitigated all damage all by herself.

We really thought B&B had realized it had gone off the rails with Electra when she wanted to throw a homeless girl onto the street, but apparently, this is the heroine they want. A whiny, pouty, shrill, shrew who believes she is the picture of virtue and entitled to everything she has, under some delusion that she worked for. She reminds us of someone else, but we'll get to that later.

Stellaaaa...We Mean...Electraaaa

Ok, so while creepy RJ had no right to barge into Will's house as if he owned it and demand that he stop talking to Electra, who also lived there. That was not cool, but neither was Will's short circuit moment when he pummeled RJ into the floor...literally. That was assault, no matter how you slice it.

So, we can't really take anyone's side here. Creepy RJ started it, Will lost control, and Electra whined cause it's what Electra does. But what Will did next will go down in soapy infamy as one of the most "did that just really happen?" moments of 2026. After Electra ran out of the house with a beaten RJ, Will took to the floor of the deck on his knees and called out her name in agony, reminding us of an epic moment from A Streetcar Named Desire that just didn't work for Electra's hissy fit over some jewelry.

Some Serious Ick From Ridge

We certainly see where RJ gets his ick from because Ridge was in rare form this week. We had thought Ridge had mellowed over the years, but he can clearly still do some disgusting things. While Electra can be a pill and is certainly not the most sympathetic character, watching Ridge berate her and pressure her to officially end things with Will or be out of a job was pretty stomach-churning.

It seemed borderline abusive as this vapid little girl sat there with tears and Ridge emotionally blackmailed her into making a decision about her personal life, which should have had nothing to do with work.

And why did Ridge have to even do that? It was pretty clear that was where Electra was headed anyway, before RJ barged into her home and started something that didn't end well. All RJ and Ridge did was make themselves look worse when Electra already looked bad.

Who's the Dressmaker Now, Huh?

While the fight scenes with the younger generation were mind-boggling, when Ridge and Bill got together on Friday, it was nothing short of a delight. Thorsten Kaye and Don Diamont remain top-notch sparring partners as the two enemies and sometimes frenemies, needled each other and hit all the right spots.

When Bill asked Ridge who the dressmaker was now, we nearly did a spit take. In fact, that may have been the best line of the year. Give us more of that and less of Electra's tears and then we have some good soap opera. We'll take more of that over Steffy constantly whining about the same thing as if no time has passed at all.

Rinse, Repeat?

So, um, didn't Steffy seem resigned to Deacon and Taylor being together when Sheila quietly left in the night after learning of her husband's affair? They were all shocked that Sheila didn't try to murder everyone, shrugged, and moved on. Steffy entered her next arc in which she first taunted, but then embraced Hope, before becoming appalled that Hope was sick of the roller coaster. But now it is like none of that happened because Steffy broke out the greatest hits.

Didn't Taylor explain that Sheila entered Taylor's bedroom with a knife to protect Taylor and not kill her? Why was Steffy bringing that up again? When Steffy announced that she had not been out on the town lately because she didn't want to see Taylor with Deacon, are we to understand that the mouth that roared has been keeping that a secret for months?

She once again told Taylor that if she were with Deacon, they couldn't have a relationship. Again, she waited MONTHS to say all this? That is how long Deacon and Taylor have been publicly together, but suddenly this became a problem again on Friday. Sure.

Spa Day...

Oh yeah, Hope passed out last Friday after clutching her chest. But it wasn't a heart attack, and no, she is not pregnant. But she did feel a bit overwhelmed. Liam helped her back to Bill's house and that's the last we have seen of her.

And Brooke? Well, she was so destroyed over her daughter forging her own path in life that she needed a deep tissue massage and a mimosa, so a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...

And that was the week that was in fictional Los Angeles. Till next week, when Brooke will surely return from her week away and demand her name back. Again.
