Finn, Will, and Zende Just Said No: The Bold and the Beautiful Two Scoops for the Week of September 21st

The Bold and the Beautiful's three most agreeable men have had it and we couldn't be happier. There is a time when you just have to say no, and Finn, Will, and Zende all did it this past week and it was glorious.

When has Finn ever, ever, ever said no to his precious Steffy, the most faithful and loyal wife and mother the Earth has ever seen? She had already become pregnant after cheating on him and had to run a paternity test and he forgave her in an instant. This time, she doesn't even have to run a paternity test due to Finn's double shifts at the hospital and she is not going to tell him the bad, bad thing she did.

Instead, this fool is going to pretend she doesn't have agency and do whatever Carter tells her to do. Carter put her on the spot in front of Daphne? OK. That doesn't mean you have to lie to your husband for the rest of your life and hand over your baby. There's an alternative. It's the truth.

But instead, Steffy told Finn she was going to be an egg donor and surrogate for Daphne and Carter and Finn said...no. And we almost fell out of our chairs. Finn has never said no to Steffy. Whatever Steffy asks for, he gives it; he agrees, he bends over backwards, you name it. It doesn't matter if he loves his crazy birth mother. Steffy says he can't see her, so he can't.

However, if Steffy wants to give away her body for nine months, that just won't do. Finn cannot have that. And we cannot blame him. Good on Finn for saying no to something that can affect a marriage that both spouses should decide. We know it won't last long because the storyline is telling us Steffy and Carter are going to go ahead with this crazy plan, but it was nice to see for now.

Mother, May I?

So, did Katie have some sort of mental break when she walked out of Eric's living room after her sisters verbally abused and maligned her for having the audacity to do something for herself? Because ever since then, she has been someone else.

She clearly has no intention of making amends with her sisters any time soon, which is fine because they do not deserve her forgiveness. But maybe Katie doesn't deserve Dylan's forgiveness because Katie's attitude is way out of line and makes absolutely no sense.

Does Katie even know Dylan well enough to say she is another Brooke? She gives no indication of being anything like Brooke, so this just seems so far out of left field. Did she not watch Electra abuse Will for nearly two years and turn him into her lapdog, even chastising him after he was sexually assaulted and making it all about her? We guess Katie missed all that.

Well, Will said no. And why did he have to say no? Because his mother forbid his adult self to continue dating a nice girl. Is Katie serious? She doesn't have to like Dylan, but does she not know you can't order your adult children around? Clearly, she does not.

But clearly Will does, because he is going to continue to date this nice girl who makes him smile when all Electra did was have him on his knees crying her name into the night? Is that what Katie wants for her precious boy? We should think not.

A Word About Dylan and Will

We are not even sure what to think of Dylan and Will at this point because we are not sure B&B realized that Dylan and Will would have more chemistry and be more popular than Electra and Will. B&B created a monster out of Electra, which we believe was unintentional. In order for this triangle to even work, all three need to be sympathetic characters and there is nothing sympathetic about Electra.

And there is plenty of sympathy for Dylan and her little powder pink apartment. She is sweet. Her mother seems to just...love her as a mother should. And Dylan seems to just love Will...as a girlfriend should. That means the other shoe is about to drop soon...

Hope For Zende's Future?

Zende should just walk out and never come back. How much more does this poor man have to take from his terrible family? And how much more do we have to listen to RJ be RJ? How condescending and full of himself can one character be and how is the RJ who was so smitten by Luna? Zende is still Zende, but one recast and RJ is out of his mind.

Logan is in the business of poaching, so come on, Hope, give him a call because Zende has had it and Zende needs to get away from these awful people who adopted him and have no idea how to treat people. He told RJ exactly where he can put his unearned right to critique and Ridge exactly where he stands. He told them no, he will not be treated this way. Now, it's time to stop ignoring those calls and tell Hope...yes.
