Four reasons why The Bold and the Beautiful's RJ is the real villain

Over the past few months, The Bold and the Beautiful writers have turned RJ into the most hateful guy on the show. Heck, even Remy is, arguably, more likable, despite the deep fakes he made of Electra. Sure, he gives off a creepy vibe sometimes, but at least he's trying to turn his life around, and he isn't a spoiled brat. Here are just four reasons why RJ is the true villain of B&B.

RJ has delusions of grandeur on The Bold and the Beautiful

What makes RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) think he has the right to fire Will (Crew Morrow)? He doesn't have the power to do so. Only Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), the two co-CEOs of Forrester Creations, have the authority to fire an employee. Ridge and/or Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) should shut down RJ's attempts to act high and mighty, and they should do it ASAP. Obviously, they spent too many years pampering him when he was growing up, and that's why he acts like such a spoiled and arrogant brat now.

It's jarring to see this latest version of RJ when the last version, played by Joshua Hoffman, was a nice guy. Unfortunately, Luna (Lisa Yamada) treated him horribly when she slept with Zende (Delon de Metz) and then pretended that she thought he was RJ!

It's appalling that RJ had the nerve to threaten his own father, saying, "Will has to go. It's either him or me." Too bad Ridge isn't man enough to give him the discipline he so desperately needs. It would have been wonderful if he'd had the guts to tell RJ, "If you can't stay away from your cousin's girlfriend, and it's causing chaos in the workplace, then I'm giving you the boot!"

RJ wanted Ridge to fire Will even before Will punched him

RJ was on a tirade for weeks, trying to convince Ridge to fire Will. The first time happened before Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) took a leave of absence, which was long before Will punched him. At that time, the only reason RJ insisted that Ridge fire him was that he didn't want Will near Electra (Laneya Grace), which had nothing to do with Will's job performance. So it rings hollow that RJ is now using the excuse of Will's punch as a reason for Ridge to fire him. RJ was always looking for an excuse for Ridge to get rid of Will. He just can't stand the competition.

RJ is jealous of Will, not only because Electra loves Will. He's also jealous because Ridge likes Will. Ridge feels sorry for him because Bill (Don Diamont) wasn't always there for Will when he was growing up. RJ is an insecure baby!

RJ refuses to accept defeat like a gentleman

Since Ridge has never been a gentleman when it comes to his treatment of women, he apparently didn't teach RJ to be one either. While Electra did send RJ mixed signals for weeks, she finally told him at Bikini that Will is her future. When he refused to accept it, he touched her arm. She got up and walked away. Thank you, Electra, for finally setting him straight. What took you so long?

Some B&B fans are calling RJ obsessed. Some are even calling him a stalker, which makes him creepy. They also say Electra likes the attention from both Will and RJ, and that hasn't helped matters. But when she finally told RJ that she'd chosen Will, he should have accepted her decision and not kept saying that he was trying to protect her. She doesn't need his protection. When RJ was sitting at the Bikini bar, glaring at Will and Electra during their private conversation, he looked like the dangerous one, not Will. Go away, RJ. You're being obnoxious!

RJ is always trashing Dollar Bill

First of all, if RJ hates Bill so much, then why did he rent the beach house from Bill two or three years ago, when Joshua Hoffman played RJ?

Second, someone needs to give RJ some hard truths and tell him that his own father, Ridge, is not much better than Bill. Isn't RJ aware that his father spent well over thirty years flip-flopping between his mother, Brooke, and Taylor (Rebecca Budig, but originally played by Hunter Tylo)? And how about the time Ridge slept with a drunken Caroline (Joanna Johnson) when she was married to Ridge's own brother, Thorne (originally played by Clayton Norcross)? Bill has treated women horribly in the past, but so has Ridge.

In a way, RJ is a hypocrite for badmouthing Bill. Yes, Bill cheated on Katie (Heather Tom) with her own sister, Brooke. But RJ has been pursuing Electra, even though she's his cousin's girlfriend.

If RJ wants to zero in on something horrible that Bill did, then he should bring up the time that Bill ordered Justin (Aaron D. Spears) to dump Ridge out of a helicopter! Now that was Dollar Bill at his finest, nastiest self.

Speaking of the helicopter incident, someone should remind Brooke that Will isn't the only male in her life who has acted violently. She sounded ridiculous when she said it was "outrageous" that Will punched RJ. She also said she couldn't believe that Katie raised Will to be violent. Hey, Brooke, if you're so opposed to violence, then why did you marry Bill after he had Ridge dumped out of that helicopter? Why did you remarry Ridge after he pushed Bill out of a second-floor window in his home? How could your own son, Rick, shoot Grant Chambers (Charles Grant) if you raised him not to be violent?

The B&B writers are making Brooke look like a hypocrite. Like mother, like son. In summary, Brooke and Ridge did a horrible job raising this new version of RJ. Evidently, they taught him to be selfish, entitled, and to be without manners -- just like the two of them are. Please, writers, send this RJ packing and bring back the nice RJ.
