B&B August 4: Carter Tries to Process Daphne's Diagnosis

Carter can easily testify to the adage that the first year of marriage is the hardest on The Bold and the Beautiful. Spoilers for Tuesday, August 4, 2026, have Carter trying to process Daphne's diagnosis, Electra trying to move on from Will, and Dylan setting her sights on the Spencer family.

Poor Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). He wanted nothing more than to be married and start a family. In fact, his relationship with Quinn (Rena Sofer) ended, in part, because she wasn't up for starting another family with him, slightly later in life.

The Forrester COO appeared to have it all when he wed the beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire). Alas, Daphne recently learned that she's in early menopause (!) and can't have children. She's equally devastated, as this isn't the life that either of them had planned.

On Tuesday's episode, watch for Carter to process Daphne's diagnosis. If this were a company crisis, Carter would sit down and plan a solution. But this is his life. What's he going to do?

Electra Complex

Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) has bid farewell to Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). Sometimes, love is not enough. But how will Electra move on when she's so deeply in love with the Spencer heir?

On Tuesday's episode, watch for Electra to try to move on from Will. For some people, the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. But is that truly Electra's style?

Electra might realize that RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) could be the man for her. He's handsome. RJ cares about Electra. And, as we've been reminded many times, there's no blood relation between them despite both having the surname Forrester.

With Dylan (Sydney Bullock) already in love with Will, as she's stated, Will might move on with someone even if Electra remains single.

A Consummate Opportunist

A short while ago, Dylan was living out of her car. Things got better when she was a guest in Will's beach house. Things might get even better on Tuesday's show when Dylan sets her sights on the Spencer family.

Dylan's not even officially with Will yet, but is it possible that she could take a page from Brooke Logan Forrester's (Katherine Kelly Lang) playbook and set her sights on another Spencer? Bill's (Don Diamont) happily wed to Katie (Heather Tom). And Liam (Scott Clifton) is married to Hope (Annika Noelle).

Wyatt (Darin Brooks), however, is single. Is he ready to mingle? Or is Dylan truly in love with Will and only has eyes for him?
