The Bold and the Beautiful: B&B Exec Reveals Forrester Creations V. Logan Designs War Will Spill into 2027

For nearly 40 years, The Bold and the Beautiful has told stories of conflict and drama set against the backdrop of the fashion world. That's going to continue into next year, as the CBS soap opera celebrates four decades of being on the air!

B&B executive producer/head writer Bradley Bell chatted with TV Insider about what's coming next as established fashion house Forrester Creations does battle with upstart Logan Designs!

"We've been thinking about [the 40th anniversary], and it will come with an ultimate payoff between these two fashion houses with a shocking twist for the 40th," Bell previewed.

As B&B viewers know, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), a key player at Forrester Creations, is at war with her sister, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom), who left the established fashion house to start up her own design line after getting funding from her husband, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

There's been some poaching going on between the two companies. First, Katie hired Eric Forrester (John McCook) after his son, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), urged his dad to take an early retirement. Eric's time away from Forrester wasn't very long. However, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) left Hope For The Future (her design line at Forrester Creations) behind and joined her aunt Katie and her husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), at Logan Designs.

Brooke has been devastated by what she feels is Katie's betrayal. "Katie is the mouse that roared," Bell says, "And Heather Tom always delivers, but we had no idea about the vocal cords this mouse has because she's really letting loose and taking on the fashion giant with her startup and doing incredibly well."

Could Katie be biting off more than she can chew? Certainly, Brooke believes that she is, especially with an upcoming move that Katie is going to make. And there's more! "Brooke is going to have a story of her own that will have some major consequences," Bell adds.

Just how worried do the Forresters have to be? Perhaps, plenty! Bell says that for the first time in the history of the program, the Forresters have taken some serious punches. "They're really reeling from it to a point where they're going to show some financial concerns and concerns for the future of the company, the existence of Forrester."

Which fashion house will come out on top? The long-running Forrester Creations or Katie's Logan Designs?
