The Bold and the Beautiful isn't waiting until 2027 to celebrate its 40th anniversary! According to a release from CBS, the show's landmark 40th season commenced earlier this week on Tuesday, September 8! Whoever said "life begins at 40" might have had the half-hour show in mind, as storylines involving the Forresters, Spencers, and their friends and foes are going to kick into high gear!
Always in Fashion

"A fierce battle between sisters Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Tom) is underway, shaking up the Los Angeles fashion industry as Katie’s rising House of Logan [AKA Logan Designs] takes on Brooke and the mighty Forrester Creations," according to an official preview.
Watch for the Forresters to navigate mounting financial concerns while the younger generation -- Electra (Laneya Grace) and R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti) -- rally to help save the family legacy. Meanwhile, Will (Crew Morrow) and Dylan (Sydney Bullock) grow closer, but Dylan’s mother, Darcy (Kelly Sullivan), who has arrived on the scene, continues to add new complications to their relationship as Katie goes on the offensive to help protect her son.
Pregnant Pause

The night that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) spent together is going to have ripple effects.
The two must grapple with the secret born from one unexpected night together, threatening to upend their respective marriages with Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire).
With secrets, rivalries, and family loyalties colliding, the drama builds toward a shocking twist in celebration of the series’ 40th anniversary in March 2027!
Everything BOLD is New Again

When B&B began, the show focused on three families -- the Forresters, the Logans, and the Spencers. To this day, those three clans continue to drive storylines on the show!
Warring fashion houses are nothing new to the program, as Forrester Creations fought upstart Spectra Fashions, led by Sally Spectra (the late, great Darlene Conley).
This time, there's the added drama of two sisters, Brooke and Katie, both of whom feel that the name "Logan" belongs to each of them! We've seen Eric (John McCook) temporarily defect to Logan Designs. He helped launch the company, but now he's returned to Forrester Creations, where he belongs.
Katie and Brooke had made a deal in which Katie wouldn't "poach" any Forrester family members. However, Katie offered her niece and step-daughter-in-law, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), a position. Brooke was devastated that her daughter had left the Forrester fold, even though Hope felt that she had no choice.
The stage is set for a fashion show down between established Forrester Creations and Logan Designs. Which line will emerge as the winner?
Does Forrester Creations truly have to worry about a brand-new company like Logan Designs? Does Will belong with Electra or Dylan? Which young lady are you rooting for to be Mrs. Will Spencer? Will Carter and Daphne Rose's marriage survive? Will Finn and Steffy's union survive, as well? Sound off in the comments section!
