Hot Plots: B&B Hot Plots October 5 to 9: Carter's Con and Zende's Big Decision

Tensions are running high at Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful. Has Carter truly pulled off the lie of the year by convincing Daphne Rose that Steffy is their surrogate? That's just one of the Hot Plots happening during the week of Monday, October 5, to Friday, October 9, according to spoilers provided to Soap Central from the show's publicity department!

October Surprise

This week, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) is stunned by Carter's (Lawrence Saint-Victor) news. The Forrester Creations COO has told his wife that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is going ahead and will be the couple's surrogate and donor so that they can have a baby. Forget the planning and talking stages, it's happening!

Carter's moved this, er, plot along because Steffy is pregnant with his child, courtesy of the night that they spent together after they thought that their marriages to Daphne Rose and Finn (Tanner Novlan) were over.

While Daphne is likely to be happy over this development, she is going to wonder why she wasn't brought in on the process. How can this be happening so quickly? If Daphne starts to probe too deeply, she could end up discovering the truth. If that were to happen, we could see the end of not one, but two marriages!

Zende, Zende, Decisions, Decisions

Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) are going to give Electra by Electra Forrester, Electra's (Laneya Grace) new line championed by RJ (Brayan Nicoletti), their full support. The line can't happen without Zende (Delon de Metz), but is he going to be lured away by Logan Designs?

Katie (Heather Tom) and Hope (Annika Noelle) are going to be optimistic about getting an unhappy Zende over to their fashion house. Will it happen? Or will Zende remain loyal to his Forrester origins?

Watch for RJ and Electra to inform Zende that he's an integral part of their team. Maybe the two can offer Zende more than supportive words? They could see to it that his pay is increased or that his name somehow takes on a more prominent role in the new line.

Katie said that she wouldn't go after any other Forresters, but she can't help but recall that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Donna (Jennifer Gareis) turned her away from their family. Katie is determined to get the best revenge by making Logan Designs a name in the fashion world. Will she succeed?
