B&B Hot Plots September 14-18: Confidences, Complications, and Conspiracies

Autumn is upon us, which is ironic as a few characters on The Bold and the Beautiful may be headed for a fall! Hot plots and spoilers for the week of Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18, 2026, have Steffy and Carter's secret growing more complicated while Finn continues to make up for the mistakes he made with Sheila and Steffy in Monaco.

Secrets, Lies, and a Baby

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is at her wits' end. She couldn't believe that the pregnancy tests she took came back positive. Now, it's going to be impossible to hide from Finn (Tanner Novlan) and the rest of her loved ones that she is expecting a baby. She won't be able to keep the baby's paternity a secret once he or she is born, as Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is the dad.

It's not just Steffy and Finn's marriage at stake. Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) came back to Carter and asked for a second chance. He agreed, but now, Carter could lose his wife if she were to find out that he was unfaithful to their marriage vows.

Then, there's the matter of Steffy's unborn baby. Will Steffy keep and raise her baby? Or might Carter want to sue for custody as he's always wanted to be a dad?

This week, watch for Carter to come up with an idea that could solve everyone's problem. But how will the idea go over with Steffy, Finn, and Daphne Rose? Carter not only stands to lose his marriage, but also his career. The Forresters have already forgiven Carter for his fling with Quinn (Rena Sofer). Would they be able to do that a second time?

Finn may have lost his biological mother, Sheila's (Kimberlin Brown), phone number, so to speak, but he's still in touch with Li (Naomi Matsuda), his adoptive mom. This week, watch for Finn to talk to Li and lean on her as he continues to show support for Steffy and their son, Hayes, and Kelly, her daughter with Liam (Scott Clifton).

Finn wants to make it up to Steffy for letting Sheila back into his life and not being firmer that she stay away from him and his family. This week, Finn is going to struggle as he attempts to ease Steffy's pain. Also, he's going to seek support from his mother-in-law, Taylor (Rebecca Budig). As a psychiatrist and as Steffy's mom, Taylor may know how to help Finn in a way that no one else can!
