Here's your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode that aired on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in which Katie made her feelings about Dylan quite clear, while Deacon and Sheila shared a poignant moment or two.

The Morning After

Will woke up in his bed to find Dylan watching him. "Good morning, sleepyhead," she said to her lover. Dylan said that she’d just been awake a few minutes. She told Will that last night was fun and everything that she had been dreaming about. Dylan told a quiet Will that it was okay if he didn’t have anything to say.

Dylan called Will “Spencer” and confided in him that his mother, Katie, doesn’t like him much. Will told her not to worry. He offered to make breakfast and joked about not joining Dylan in the shower.

Will put out a spread for breakfast. Then, Katie, bagels in hand, dropped by and asked Will if he was expecting someone for breakfast or if that person was there. Katie hoped (in vain) that Will had made up with Electra.

Dylan entered and asked Will if he still wanted an invite to join her in the shower, before she realized that Katie was there. “Really, Will? Her?” a disapproving Katie asked.

Will insisted that it was over with him and Electra. Katie said to her son, “You need time – not this!”

Dylan told Katie that she loved her son. Katie wondered what was motivating Dylan. She said it was her feelings for her son. Katie doubted that. She asked Dylan what exactly she was doing there and what she wanted from her son.

At Forrester Creations, Ridge was on the phone telling Ernesto that he didn’t want to talk about Hope coming back, but he had something to talk about, but now was not the time. Then, RJ and Electra entered. He wanted to know about Ridge’s call to Ernesto; Ridge confessed that he didn’t have the answer to Hope’s defection.

RJ said he had an idea. He suggested a new youth line, and he had the perfect person (Electra) to represent it. Electra said this wasn’t her idea. RJ pointed out that Electra had done great things with the jewelry line.

Ridge cautioned that it wouldn’t be easy for Brooke to replace Hope For The Future, as it’s her daughter’s line. RJ said he was Ridge Jr., so it wasn’t surprising that he was thinking of the future.

He wanted the legacy of Forrester to continue, and he’s confident that Electra’s line will accomplish that. Ridge agreed to listen. RJ presented his father with a proposal, and he pitched Electra by Electra Forrester.

RJ stated with great certainty that Electra could be a force at Forrester, pointing out that she’s already popular with the younger demographic. He pointed out that Electra, unlike Hope, was a Forrester. Electra said she’d be all in if Ridge gave the green light. “When,” RJ confidentially stated.

While Ridge agreed FC needed to come up with something, he pointed out that Electra hadn't been in the fashion show for very long. RJ said that’s why this would work – Electra was new. RJ showed Ridge the designs on a table that he’d shown Eric. RJ pointed out that Electra and he made a great team. He believed in Electra by Electra Forrester and hoped that Ridge would too.

Deacon was surprised that the French-sounding patron he had at Il Giardino was actually his 8-toed ex-wife, Sheila, pretending to have a reservation. Sheila said that she was trying to respect the distance between them, plus, she’d been traveling.

Deacon said he heard all about Sheila’s trip to Monaco. Sheila shared that she didn’t get her miracle reunion with Finn there. A knowing Deacon said instead she incurred Steffy’s wrath. Deacon said he knew his ex-wife so well. Sheila genuinely wished things were better.

Sheila asked how things were going with Taylor and Deacon. Deacon offered to be an ear for Sheila. She was surprised he’d offer, as they were now divorced. Sheila said that she felt lonely.

Deacon chuckled a bit when Sheila shared her dream that Steffy accepted her. Sheila realized that Finn wasn’t going to choose her over Finn and claimed that she knew he was never going to do that. She said her losses kept mounting, adding that she still has love in her heart, including love for the man who left her for another woman.

Deacon claimed that he and Taylor never set out to hurt her. Sheila said that meant a lot; Deacon said they had made amazing memories. Sheila just wished they had made more. She said that she loved him and she hoped that he still loved her.

Sheila said that she didn’t expect to be invited to the wedding. Deacon said that they’d decided against a wedding. Sheila was surprised. Deacon shared that he had proposed to Taylor, but that she said no. Sheila couldn’t believe it.

Is Katie ever going to accept Dylan? Will she ever not call her "Melissa" or "This"? Will RJ convince his father to go with Electra by Electra Forrester? Might Deacon and Sheila reunite? Tune in to find out!
