Here is your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode for Thursday, September 3, 2026.
Katie for the Win

"You are dating Bill and Katie Spencer’s son?" Darcy enthused to her daughter, Dylan, acting as if she’d just won the lottery.
Dylan tried to quiet her mother. Katie introduced herself. Darcy introduced herself as her biggest fan to a nonplussed Katie. Katie wanted to know why Dylan kept from her mother that she was dating Will Spencer.
Katie told Darcy that Dylan was living in her car, and then she moved in with Will while he was in a relationship with his girlfriend (making her sound like Will’s current girlfriend). Katie wondered why Dylan didn’t tell her mom all of this.
Katie told Darcy that Dylan landed on her feet and that she’s working at Bikini and Forrester Creations. Dylan insisted she and her mother were close. Darcy said that when Missy (Melissa AKA Dylan) turned 18, she wanted to live her own life.
Katie said she didn’t need Dylan’s explanation. She’d heard enough. As Katie exited, she advised Dylan to spend time with her mother as they had a lot to catch up on.
Darcy asked Dylan why she hadn't told her what was going on in her life. After all, she was her mother. It was Darcy’s job to know what was going on. Dylan assured her mother that she wasn’t hurt. While it was scary, she survived. Dylan said that it was Will who gave her a place to stay in the apartment above his garage. Darcy couldn’t believe that Dylan’s boyfriend was Will and Katie Spencer’s son.
Dylan explained that it took a while to get her bearings. Darcy admitted that Dylan landed on her feet. Darcy marveled that Dylan was dating Will and working at Forrester Creations. Dylan said life was hard, but that it was good now. She loved both her jobs, and she said she loved Will so much. Dylan lamented that everything got screwed up with Mrs. Spencer. Dylan called Will and got his voicemail. Dylan left. Darcy asked what she should do. “Have some more nachos and flirt with Deacon,” Dylan suggested.
Father Knows Best

Bill showed up at Will’s beach house. Will gave his dad an update on work. Bill said he wasn’t questioning his work ethic, and he pointed out that Will has become invaluable to Logan Designs. Will wondered if the plan to bury Forrester Creations included Electra’s jewelry line.
Bill said beating Forrester wasn’t just about business, it was also about family – the Spencer family. Bill said that Will was doing a good thing by moving on from Electra with Dylan. Will wished Katie felt the same way. Bill said that Katie was meeting with Dylan and her mom.
Bill said that it was hard to lose his first love. He added that there would be a lot of women in his life. Will wondered if he was a “one woman guy.” Bill quipped that being young is wasted on the youth. Will announced he was going surfing. Bill countered that Electra was not a unicorn. Will said that Katie was being protective of her “Willy Bear.” Will groaned to his dad not to say that again.
Katie showed up and said her encounter wasn’t what she expected. “She was fine,” Katie said about Darcy. Bill kissed Will and called him his “Willy Bear.” Katie recalled that that’s what she used to call her son. After Bill left, Katie said that she had a lot of concerns about this woman in Will’s life.
Will said that Dylan has done nothing to deserve Katie’s scrutiny. Katie countered that they know nothing about this girl, and her mother knows even less, as Dylan has kept her in the dark. Then, Dylan entered. “Oh, and there she is, right on cue,” Katie snarked. “Here to do damage control. Well, it’s too late, sweetheart.”
Katie told Dylan that she told Will that Dylan kept her mother in the dark. “I didn’t trust you before, and I trust you even less now,” Katie said. She added that Dylan does not deserve to be with her son.
Chills, Electra-fying

Over at Forrester Creations, Electra couldn’t believe that her line was coming together. RJ said that Electra by Electra Forrester will make a mark in the fashion world. Then, Brooke, Ridge, and Eric entered the office. Ridge explained that Steffy couldn’t be there to hear the pitch. RJ promised that the Electra line was exactly what Forrester needed.
Ridge and Brooke reviewed some of the Electra presentation as Eric complimented Electra for stepping out of her comfort zone. A wistful Brooke couldn’t help but think of how the Electra line reminded her of Hope For The Future. RJ encouraged her mother to focus on the fact that he was there and that Electra was a Forrester.
Eric said that Hope’s exit blindsided the company. RJ said that Hope For The Future was built on the hope of who someone could be; Electra by Electra Forrester is about knowing who you could be.
Eric signed off on Electra by Electra Forrester; he pointed out that it can’t be just about fashion, it has to be about finding the beauty within. Then, Ridge added that Zende would be joining the design team. Ridge told them to protect what they had and to keep this a secret from everyone, including Logan Designs.
Alone with RJ, Electra said that she always dreamt of being at Forrester. RJ said that it was a lot of pressure to carry with her own line, but that’s why he was there. “We’re going to show Logan and Spencer exactly who runs the fashion industry,” RJ promised.
