B&B What-to-Watch Moment September 17: Carter Leaves Daphne Speechless

Steffy is in a pickle on The Bold and the Beautiful. Pregnant with Carter's child, she can hardly pass the baby off as Finn's after he or she is born. Has Carter come up with a solution? Carter knows that there's no stopping Steffy's baby from coming into the world. Ironically, Carter and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) are trying to have a child of their own. They're likely going to have to explore surrogacy if they want to have a baby.

Ironically, Steffy is sort of Carter's surrogate right now as she is carrying his child. Is the answer to Steffy and Carter's dilemma staring them right in the face? Neither of them wants to lose their respective marriages. Carter's going to come up with an idea that can keep his and Steffy's marriage intact and also bring their baby into the world. But will his scheme raise suspicion, or will it expose their secret? Will Steffy give her baby over to Carter as he has suggested?

Daphne Rose by Any Other Name

Watch for Daphne Rose to find Carter's suggestion unbelievable. She's been known to have emotional responses to twists in her life in the past. When she accepted that, in all likelihood, she would not be able to give Carter a child, she chose to end their marriage. Daphne Rose readied herself to fly back to Paris and move on with her life. She was going to let Carter find someone else with whom he could have a child. (That part actually worked out pretty quickly!)

Daphne Rose thought better of it, and she returned to her husband and asked for a second chance. But now, it's time to move forward with their lives and work on that baby.

On Thursday's episode, watch for Daphne Rose to be incredulous over Carter's suggestion. Does he want to use Steffy's pregnancy to his advantage? How long will it be before the secret of what happened that night in the Forrester Creations CEO's office is revealed?

There are more than four lives at stake here, of course. In addition to Carter, Daphne Rose, Finn (Tanner Novlan), and Steffy, there's also an innocent unborn baby. That child is on his or her way, and Carter's plan may solve a lot of concerns!
