B&B What-to-Watch Moments August 17: Carter and Steffy Turn to Each Other for Comfort

Steffy and Carter found themselves as crossroads last week on The Bold and the Beautiful. Both of their marriages had seemingly ended, or at least it certainly felt that way! Spoilers for the episode airing Monday, August 17, 2026, have Carter and Steffy turning to each other for comfort. Meanwhile, thousands of miles away in Monaco, Ridge is furious with Finn!

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) got hammered on the flight from Monaco back to Los Angeles. She didn't know what to do after fighting with Finn (Tanner Novlan), who gave Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) one too many chances.

She went to Forrester Creations and told Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that her marriage was kaput. On Monday's episode, according to B&B spoilers, Carter and Steffy will turn to each other for comfort.

Carter's already opened up to Steffy about the problems in his marriage to Daphne Rose (Murelle Hilaire) because of her problems with having a baby. She knows that he's been in pain and has been there to support him. Now, it's Carter's turn to be there for his friend.

Will Finn get there in time to prevent Steffy and Carter from making a decision that will change all their futures forever?

Finn realizes he's stepped in it big time. He's already reached out to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), hoping that Steffy would be with them.

On Monday's show, watch for Ridge to be furious with Finn. What the good doctor may have forgotten is that Steffy isn't the only non-Sheila fan in the Forrester clan. Ridge has every reason to have nothing but disdain for the naughty nanny.

Sheila shot Taylor (Rebecca Budig) years ago, which resulted in Taylor being gravely injured. In fact, everyone thought that she had died. In reality, she'd been kidnapped by Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) of Morocco. He brought Taylor back to his country, and she remained there for many years as his "guest."

On Monday's episode, watch for Ridge to be furious with his son-in-law. Finn hasn't committed a faux pas like forgetting an anniversary, or he stood her up for dinner because he forgot his schedule at the hospital. No, Finn has sided with his sociopathic mother instead of making his wife feel safe!
