What does Finn have in common with Lucy Ricardo? They've both got a lot of explaining to do! The Bold and the Beautiful's leading man really stepped in it by not being honest with Steffy about Sheila. Spoilers for Tuesday, August 18, have Finn trying to make amends with Steffy. Can he, though?
The Doctor Is In...the Doghouse!

In fairness to Finn (Tanner Novlan), he had every reason to believe that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), the biological mother who shot both Finn and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), was on her way back to Los Angeles. Finn felt that he had plenty of time to share with his wife that he'd spent several hours with Sheila on a plane ride to Monaco.
He didn't tell her, though, and when Steffy saw Sheila on the beach (her 8 toes are a dead giveaway), she felt betrayed and unsafe. Steffy gave Finn numerous warnings, and she made her feelings about Sheila quite clear.
Finn dropped the ball by not being forthcoming and by not laying down the law more firmly with his bio mom. Steffy gave Finn his rings back to send a very clear message: it's over!
An Uphill Battle

Finn has no clue as to what he's set in motion. Steffy hightailed it back to Los Angeles, helping herself to champagne on the plane. She arrived at Forrester Creations at her lowest low. That's where she ran into Carter (Lawrene Saint-Victor), and the two comforted each other on Monday's episode.
Carter is devastated that Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) is sad over her medical diagnosis, which has hampered her ability to give Carter a child.
While Finn is hoping that Steffy forgives him, she may be asking for his forgiveness if he learns about her and Carter comforting each other!
Finn might find a surprising ally in Sheila. If Finn's bio mom truly wants to be in his life, she'll take the steps necessary to help her son reunite with his wife. It's not likely that Steffy will ever be comfortable around Sheila, however.
Do you think Finn stands a chance at getting his marriage back on track? Will he even want to if he finds out about Steffy and Carter? Sound off in the comments below!
