Katie is suspicious of Dylan's motives on The Bold and the Beautiful. Spoilers for the Wednesday, August 19, 2026, episode also reveal Electra and Dylan having a heated argument, and Steffy grappling with trusting Finn again.
Katie's Concern
Dylan (Sydney Bullock) didn't make a good first impression with Katie (Heather Tom), which she likely regrets. Dylan is interested in Will (Crew Morrow), Katie's son, so her approval is something she'd want to acquire.
On Wednesday's episode, watch for Katie to be suspicious of Dylan's motives. Even if Dylan has something in mind that appears selfless, Katie will likely lean into her instincts, which have told her thus far not to trust Dylan one iota. Dylan may not stand a chance with Katie if she reminds Will's mother of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Katie's never going to forget that Brooke and Bill (Don Diamont) were intimate when she was vulnerable. She may see Dylan as a younger version of Brooke, and simply won't trust her for that reason!
Electra V. Dylan
Dylan may not want to get rid of her part-time gig as a bartender at Bikini. Why? Her job at Forrester Creations may be in jeopardy! Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) is not a fan of Dylan's. She may not want to be with Will anymore, but that doesn't mean she is okay with Dylan being with her ex-boyfriend either.
If Electra doesn't want to see Dylan when she comes to work, then Dylan might be out of a job! On Wednesday's show, watch for Electra and Dylan to have a heated argument. If someone is going to go from Forrester Creations, it's not going to be the person whose last name is Forrester.
If Dylan exits the fashion house, she could end up working with Will at either Logan Designs or Spencer Publications. Electra could end up pushing Dylan and Will together, which is the last thing in the world that she wants!
Finding Finn Again
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) feels betrayed. And she may just be feeling a bit guilty over turning to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for comfort. Even though Finn (Tanner Novlan) betrayed her by lying about Sheila, they are still husband and wife.

Is Finn's wife going to call things off for good? Did she overreact when she threw her wedding bands at Finn in Monaco after learning that he knew about Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) being there, and he didn't tell her?
On Wednesday's episode, watch for Steffy to grapple with fully trusting Finn again. Perhaps she'll hear him out, and they can salvage their relationship? But how would Finn react if he were to find out that Steffy was unfaithful to him with Carter?
