Between Katie and Electra, Dylan is outnumbered these days on The Bold and the Beautiful. She's also about to do some examining on the Thursday, August 27, 2026, episode as Dylan is forced to face her past. Also, Deacon is going to give some fatherly advice to Hope.

Thursday is the day that fan favorite and Daytime Emmy nominee Kelly Sullivan (ex-Sage, The Young and the Restless, and ex-Connie/Kate, General Hospital) is set to debut as Darcy Dylan, Dylan's (Sydney Bullock) mom!

That's also the day that Dylan is forced to face her past. She's already revealed to Katie (Heather Tom) that she is a big fan of the Spencer family. Rather than be impressed or flattered, Katie has been weirded out by Dylan's sharing -- and she's not a fan of Dylan's at all, to be perfectly honest.

Katie feels that Will (Crew Morrow) is moving too fast. Dylan's job is hanging on by a thread thanks to Electra (Laneya Grace) reminding Electra that she's a Forrester, and Dylan moved in too quickly on Will after he and Electra split.

Deacon's Hope For The Future

Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) has been a good guy and a bad boy over the years, but one thing that he's always been is a loving father to his daughter, Hope (Annika Noelle).

On Thursday's show, watch for Deacon to give Hope some fatherly advice. Hope may be having second thoughts about leaving Forrester Creations and Hope For The Future behind when she was feeling unappreciated by Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

At first glance, it seemed like a smart move for Hope to go to work for her aunt Katie, who is also her stepmother-in-law, courtesy of her husband, Liam (Scott Clifton), being the son of Bill (Don Diamont), Katie's husband.

Perhaps Hope can also give Deacon some advice. Deacon proposed to Taylor (Rebecca Budig), but she turned him down. However, that doesn't mean their relationship is over. Hope's gone through a lot of heartache over the years as she and Steffy competed for Liam's love.

Perhaps Hope will have some perspective on hanging in there and can advise her dad on how best to proceed. Deacon still gets along with his ex-wife, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), just fine, but that doesn't mean Hope would support a reconciliation.
