B&B What-to-Watch Moments July 9: Sheila and Deacon's Marriage Officially Comes to an End

Here are your spoilers for The Bold and the Beautiful episode, airing Thursday, July 9, 2026, as one union comes to an end and another character is caught off guard.

Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) want to move forward with their lives together. But Deacon needs to extricate himself from his wife, Sheila (Kimbelrin Brown), for that to happen. Sheila has been trying to leverage giving Deacon what he wants with what she desires -- a role in the lives of her son, Finn (Tanner Novlan), and his son, Hayes (Bryan David Garlick).

On Thursday's show, watch for Sheila and Deacon's marriage to come to an end, officially. Has Deacon given in to Sheila's demands? Or has she changed her mind? We've never known Sheila to give up, so we suspect that she's going to get what she wants.

Will Sheila truly be satisfied with Deacon being out of her life as her husband? Does she truly want to be a part of Finn and Hayes' lives, or is she just looking for a way to remain in Deacon's orbit so that she can be the most important woman in his life once again?

Deacon and Sheila were truly, deeply madly in love with one another. He understood who she was and accepted her. Alas, that ended once Luna (Lisa Yamada), Sheila's granddaughter, went on a murderous rampage. Deacon just couldn't get past that. Will he ever truly be free from Sheila?

Doctor's Visit

Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan is a busy doctor. He sees patients all the time and has a very busy personal life between his family, wife Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and their son, and his role as stepdad to Kelly.

Finn doesn't work at Forrester Creations, but he is no stranger to the hallways of the fashion house. If there's a big show or big event at Forrester, he'll attend, schedules permitting.

On Thursday's show, watch for Finn to be caught off guard by an unexpected visitor. Who could that be? As Finn is a doctor, he could be visited by anyone in the show's cast of characters. But maybe it's not a professional reason that's bringing someone to Finn. Maybe it's a personal matter?
