Katie: B&B What-to-Watch Moments October 2: Hope and Katie Put it All on the Design Board

Katie's unstoppable on The Bold and the Beautiful. She's determined to get Zende away from Forrester, and on the Friday, October 2, 2026, episode, Katie and Hope, according to spoilers provided to Soap Central by the show's publicity team, are going to put everything on the table as Katie's power play continues! Meanwhile, Steffy is going to raise concerns about Carter's plan.

If Katie (Heather Tom) has her say, Zende (Delon de Metz) is going to end up at Logan Designs. He'll be the perfect addition as Deke (Harrison Cone) may be overwhelmed with work. The move will reunite Zende with Hope. They worked together seamlessly (get it?) on Hope For The Future at Forrester Creations, and Katie knows that they will be an unbeatable team at Logan Designs.

On Friday's episode, watch for Katie and Hope to lay everything on the table. Didn't Katie promise Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she wouldn't go after any other Forresters and bring them to work at Logan?

We can hear Katie now. "Zende's not a Forrester -- he's a Dominguez," she'll say. Hope might counter that her former colleague's name is "Zende Forrester Dominguez," but Katie may not make that distinction.

Plus, Katie is currently in a mood where she is going to point out to anyone who'll listen that Brooke slept with her husband not once, but twice. Katie said that Brooke was "following her heart," but that didn't wash with her. Maybe Katie could simply say that she was "following her business heart" if she were to go after Zende!

Will Hope and Katie come into conflict when they talk? Or will the two women be on the same page?

Cross-examination

Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has been behaving like a fierce district attorney as he pummels away at Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), trying to get her to pass their naturally conceived baby off as a baby that Carter and Daphne Rose can adopt. But Steffy isn't sure that she can give up a part of her body, which this baby will be, to another couple.

It's easy for Carter as he's the baby's biological father. But Steffy would be lying if she were to say that she was acting as a planned donor and surrogate. Carter has a plan to hide in plain sight so that nobody knows that he and Steffy turned to one another in a moment of crisis.

On Friday's episode, watch for Steffy to raise concerns about Carter's plan. He's claimed to have people in place to handle all the details. But what if Steffy throws out a scenario that Carter hasn't contemplated? Can she change his mind?
