Steffy: B&B What-to-Watch Moments October 5: Daphne Is Shocked by Carter's News About Steffy

Carter is fast on his feet, and his announcement to Daphne has her head spinning on The Bold and the Beautiful! Spoilers for the episode airing on Monday, October 5, 2026, have Daphne being stunned by Carter's surprising news, and Will confiding in Wyatt.

Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) announced on Friday that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was pregnant with a baby that he and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) will raise together! Daphne was left speechless at the news.

On Monday's episode, watch for Daphne to continue to be stunned by her husband's surprising news. Daphne had been playing things close to the vest and held off from telling Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that Steffy was considering being her and Carter's surrogate.

Now, the most important person, outside of the biological parents, knows what's going on. The next person who needs to find out is Finn (Tanner Novlan), Steffy's husband, who is out of town at a medical conference. By the time he returns, perhaps Daphne will have wrapped her head around the fact that she's going to become a mother thanks to Finn's wife!

Wyatt's (Darin Brooks) engagement to Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) didn't work out, but the Spencer heir's return to Los Angeles has benefited his younger brother, Will (Crew Morrow).

Now that he's around more, Will has had someone he can talk to about his problems. Yes, he can always talk to his mother, Katie (Heather Tom), or his father, Bill (Don Diamont), but, at least as far as Katie goes, she actually is Will's problem!

Will is watching his mother use Dylan (Sydney Bullock) as a pawn in the ongoing war between Forrester Creations and Logan Designs. Dylan can't seem to win with Katie, and part of the reason is that Dylan reminds Katie of her unfaithful big sister, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Katie can't get it out of her head that Brooke slept with Bill when she was suffering from post-partum and was vulnerable. Katie has forgiven Bill and even remarried him. But Katie has no reason to ever give Brooke another chance in light of their recent history.

On Monday's show, watch for Will to confide in Wyatt. Will he tell her about Katie's controlling nature? Wyatt has a unique relationship with Katie in that he used to date her. Perhaps he can help his brother when it comes to getting his mother to give Dylan a chance?
