Finn is going to ask the impossible of his wife, Steffy, on The Bold and the Beautiful. Spoilers for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, (provided to Soap Central by the show's p.r. department), reveal that the good doctor is going to ask Steffy not to go through with the surrogacy. Meanwhile, Taylor isn't pleased to hear that Sheila is sharing secrets with Deacon.
Doctor's Orders
Finn (Tanner Novlan) wants to make things up to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) because of the debacle in Monaco. He didn't tell her that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), the woman who shot them both in an alley where they both almost died, had followed him overseas because he didn't want to ruin their romantic reunion. Monaco was always a special place because that's where Finn and Steffy reunited following his "death."
But Finn's going to draw a line at Steffy being a surrogate for Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). It's a huge ask. Being a surrogate would be a commitment involving both Steffy's and Finn's lives. The move would affect Kelly and Hayes, Steffy's work at Forrester, and Finn would have to take time off from work should Steffy need him.
However, Steffy is already carrying Carter's baby. Finn may have his reasons for objecting, and they may be valid reasons. However, he doesn't know that his wife is already expecting.
Psychiatrist, Heal Thyself
Clearly, there's still a lot of chemistry between Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Their chat at Bikini shows that he still cares about her, and she cares about him. Deacon truly believes that his ex-wife has changed, and he gave her some "tough love" by telling her that Finn is always going to put his wife and kids first. Her chances of having a future with him are not looking good.
Speaking of the future, Sheila was miffed that Taylor turned down Deacon's proposal. The whole reason that she let him go was so that he could have a future with the therapist. And now, Taylor isn't committing to that? Sheila doesn't make sacrifices often. She wanted this one to mean something.

The naughty nanny's not the only one miffed. On Wednesday's show, watch for Taylor to be displeased to hear that Sheila confided in Deacon. Isn't that what significant others are for? True. But it's also what friends are for, Taylor!
