B&B What-to-Watch Moments September 28: Katie Plans Her Next Move

Everything bold is new again on The Bold and the Beautiful as the dynamic between Brooke Logan and the late Stephanie Forrester is being repeated by Melissa "Dylan" Dylan and Katie Spencer. Spoilers for the episode airing on Monday, September 28, have Ridge, er, Will defending his feelings for Dylan. Also, Katie is going to put her next move into motion.

Defending Dylan

At the end of last week, Dylan (Sydney Bullock) overheard Katie (Heather Tom) trashing her, telling her son, Will (Crew Morrow), that his girlfriend wasn't Spencer material. Katie added that she certainly hoped that her son was using protection to avoid an unwanted pregnancy!

Not only would the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) approve of Katie's watchful eye on her son, but so would other controlling soap mothers, Victoria Grayson on Revenge, played by Madeleine Stowe, Rachel Cory of Another World, played by Victoria Wyndham, and Enid Nelson of All My Children, played by Natalie Ross.

There are others, too. And Katie Logan Spencer is standing proud with them. However, just as those mothers all had sons who were determined to love whom they were going to love, so is Will Spencer!

On Monday's episode, watch for Will to defend his feelings for Dylan. Katie's already softened on her a little bit as she learned from Darcy (Kelly Sullivan), Dylan's mom, that Dylan is a sweetie whose father walked out on her and Darcy.

Will the Spencer heir get his mom to change her mind about Dylan? Or will Katie hiss her name -- Melissa Dylan -- each and every time she refers to her?

Katie's Control

Katie's not just hyper-focused on her son's love life and makes sure that he doesn't get Dylan pregnant, but she's also busy running a business. She's realizing that her design team led by Deke (Harrison Cone) and Hope (Annika Noelle) needs help. And Zende (Delon de Metz) is feeling undervalued and unappreciated over at Forrester Creations.

Katie told Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she wouldn't go after any more Forresters, but Zende is a Forrester as he's the son of Kristen Forrester Dominguez (Tracy Melchior) and Antonio Dominguez (Paulo Benedeti).

But Katie is a woman on a mission. On Monday's episode, watch for Katie to plan her next move. Perhaps she's just not like Stephanie in her personal life? Stephanie did what she had to do in the business world. When she found out that her side of the family was behind the financial launch of Forrester Creations, she took her rightful place in the CEO office.

If Dylan gets a view of how Katie conducts herself professionally, she may gain knowledge on how to deal with Katie on a personal level. Eventually, Stephanie accepted Brooke. Maybe Dylan can hold out hope for Katie doing the same with her?
