The first full week of the month kicks off on The Bold and the Beautiful with an unexpected dinner for four, and someone keeping an open mind. Spoilers for Monday, September 7, 2026, have Steffy and Carter being caught off guard when a dinner with their respective spouses, Finn and Daphne, takes place. Plus, Katie tries to have an open mind when it comes to Will's love life.
Just Desserts
Things are going to be awkward over dinner when Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) welcome Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) to break bread. Hopefully, no marriages will be broken up by the end of the evening.
Steffy has been at her wits' end, sitting on the secret that she and Carter slept together when both thought that their respective marriages were over. Since they each reconciled with their spouses, Carter and Steffy have had to listen, either jointly or separately, how wonderful their spouses think that they are.
Daphne has talked about the big mistake that she made by preparing to fly back to Paris once she learned that she and Carter couldn't have a baby. She's praised Carter for being a wonderful husband. She's expressed gratitude to Steffy for her support and for being such a great friend.
Meanwhile, Steffy has tried to tell Finn that she made mistakes, too, but he doesn't want to hear it. As far as Finn is concerned, he blew it by letting Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) back into their lives. He can't do enough for Steffy. Well, he might have to forgive her.

Past Imperfect
Katie (Heather Tom) has her mind made up about Dylan (Sydney Bullock) the way that the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery) did Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) back in the show's early days (and then for many years after!).
However, Darcy (Kelly Sullivan) laid out to Katie details about her daughter's life that she didn't know, including that Dylan's father walked out on the family, just as Katie's dad, Stephen (Patrick Duffy), had done when Katie was a little one.

Despite growing up without a father, Katie managed to make a success of her life, first by working in publicity at Forrester Creations, and later by heading up her own design firm, Logan Designs.
Is that going to make a difference? Maybe. On Monday's show, watch for Katie to keep an open mind. Is Dylan going to get another shot? Or a first shot? Katie may look at Dylan differently, but that doesn't mean that she's going to give her another shot. However, seeing Dylan in a different light is certainly where things need to begin for Dylan to win over Will's (Crew Morrow) mom!
