The Bold and the Beautiful: B&B What-to-Watch Moments September 9: Paging Dr. Finnegan for Medical Aid

Tanner Novlan's joining The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan gave the show a regular doctor character on hand for medical emergencies. Spoilers for the episode airing on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, indicate that the good doctor might be needed as Finn's medical expertise proves invaluable. Also, Electra is surprised by an unexpected visitor.

The Doctor Is Finn

Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) wanted to have dinner with her husband, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), at both Finn's (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) home, not only because they're all such great friends, but Daphne wanted Finn's medical expertise on her infertility.

On Wednesday's episode, watch for Finn's medical expertise to prove invaluable. Does this mean someone at dinner is going to have a medical emergency? It wouldn't be beyond reason to suspect that someone at the dinner party is going to have some kind of coronary episode!

The more Daphne and Finn lavish praise upon their respective mates, Carter and Steffy, the more that the latter two get nervous. They're afraid their night of intimacy is going to come, putting an end to both of their marriages.

Perhaps Finn is going to employ the Heimlich maneuver when someone chokes on a piece of food? Or maybe he's going to inform Daphne and Carter about avenues they can take to have a baby. Adoption and surrogacy are potential methods.

On Wednesday's episode, watch for Electra (Laneya Grace) to receive an unexpected visitor. Let's see, we can rule out anyone in the Forrester family because none of those folks would be "unexpected."

It wouldn't be unusual for Electra to encounter Dylan (Sydney Bullock) in the hallways at Forrester Creations, as much as she'd probably prefer not to!

Perhaps Will (Crew Morrow), Electra's ex, is going to visit her. Maybe it's Katie (Heather Tom). The Spencer matriarch has thawed a little bit when it comes to Dylan, but that doesn't mean she's given up her belief (no pun intended) that Will and Electra belong together.

Electra recently told RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) that she was at fault for her union with Will ending. She had an epiphany. If Electra shares with Katie that she regrets how she behaved, we can see Katie encouraging Electra to go to her son and share with him that she wants another chance.
