The irony is that Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) love each other very much. If they didn't, they wouldn't be in this much pain. Daphne has learned that she has a medical condition that has thrown a wrench into her plan with Carter to start a family.
