The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless don't shoot across the hall any longer as the half-hour soap moved to a new studio last summer. But that doesn't mean that the show still can't do crossovers, and Darin Brooks, who returns to B&B today as Wyatt, would love to see one happen for his character down the line.
The Bold and the Beautiful, LA to Genoa City

Previously, Wyatt was involved with Sally Spectra (played by Daytime Emmy-winner Courtney Hope). He dumped her (ouch!) not once, but twice (double ouch!) to reunite with teen sweetheart Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), whom he eventually proposed marriage to.
Sally went on to carve out a new life for herself in Genoa City on B&B's sister soap, Y&R. Occasionally, she'll refer to mistakes she made when she lived in Los Angeles and was in a relationship.
How might Wyatt respond to seeing Sally again and discovering how she's grown? "From your lips, to God's ears," Brooks responds to the idea of a "Wally" (the couple's smush name) reunion. "I love that idea. [Courtney] is such a wonderful actress, and she's so talented. I haven't watched a lot of Y&R lately, but I do know that she's had some amazing moments [on that show]. I'm just so happy for her and so proud of her!"
He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother

In the meantime, Wyatt has plenty of stuff to keep him busy in Los Angeles. Video spoilers have shown that not only is Wyatt back in town, but so is Flo's mom, Shauna (Denise Richards). Will Wyatt and Flo's status be addressed?
"Yes, we'll probably be subtly addressing that coming up soon," Brooks teases. The actor says he's stayed in touch with Bowden the way many people stay in touch these days -- via Instagram!
"I've sent her some DMs [direct messages], and I've been meaning to send her another one because I want to see how everything's going," Brooks adds. "I've seen her posts about her baby and the chaos! (Laughs) I remember those days! I'm so happy for her that she's doing all that."
The door was always open for Brooks to come back to B&B, and that door cracked open a bit when the actor visited the show's new studio in Hollywood last year. "Brad [Bell, executive producer/head writer] said, 'We miss you around herem and everybody loves you,'" Brooks shares. "He said, 'We need more comedy on the show and levity. He said, 'Let me think about it.' So, we kept in touch, and we chatted a few more times. Then, it just kind of happened."
Viewers have always enjoyed the sibling dynamic between Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt. For the most part, the two haven't let their mutual love of the same woman, be it Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Hope (Annika Noelle), Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), or Sally, sever their brotherly bond.
"I love that guy, man," Brooks says of his TV brother. "We're brothers at heart, and in real-life, too. I think the world of him!"
