The Bold and the Beautiful alums Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger split after a decade of marriage

The Bold and the Beautiful's Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger have chosen to divorce after nearly 10 years of marriage. The couple met in 2010 and tied the knot six years later in 2016.

The Bold and the Beautiful stars call it quits

Kruger addressed the news on her Instagram page on the evening of March 2, saying:

"This is obviously not fun news to share, but we have shared so many wonderful years together, and we’re truly grateful for the support, love, and joy you all have shown us along the way. While we’ve made the difficult decision to part ways as a couple, we remain deeply respectful of each other and united in our commitment to our beautiful family. Our focus is on raising our girls with love, laughter, and stability, and we look forward to this next chapter as friends and co-parents. Thank you for being such a meaningful part of our journey — your kindness and support mean the world to us."

Brooks and Kruger met on the set of the series Blue Mountain State sixteen years ago. Brooks was a series regular, while Kruger guest-starred in one episode and won his heart. However, the couple started their relationship as good friends before a romance began.

Four years later, Brooks proposed to Kruger when they were on location in Paris for The Bold and the Beautiful, where Brooks played Wyatt Spencer and Kruger recurred as Eva, a Forrester Creations publicist.

A two-soap couple

Brooks and Kruger have made a name for themselves in soaps. Brooks got his daytime start as Max Brady on Days of our Lives in 2005 and remained with the soap until 2010. In 2013, Brooks took on the role of Wyatt Spencer on B&B and played Wyatt until 2024. That is when Wyatt left town, and has rarely been heard from since.

Kruger played Mackenzie Browning on The Young and the Restless from 2002-2003, and again from 2018-209. She's appeared in numerous episodic series in between, and recurred as Eva on B&B from 2014-2021.

After enduring some fertility struggles, the couple finally became parents after three years of marriage. Kruger and Brooks have two daughters, Everleigh Jolie, who was born in 2019, and Gemma Wynter, who was born in 2022.
