The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 13: Steffy Ends Her Marriage to Finn Over Sheila

Take the "L" Out of Lover

Steffy couldn't believe that Sheila was there in Monaco. She ordered Sheila to stay away and demanded to know what was going on, accusing Sheila of stalking her and Finn. Then, Finn jumped in and said that he had told Sheila to go back home. Steffy couldn't believe that Finn knew Sheila was there.

Sheila told Steffy not to blame Finn. He said he booked the next flight back for Sheila. She claimed they delayed her flight, and she just wanted to grab a bite and dip her toes (all eight of 'em!) in the water.

Steffy could not believe that Finn was not honest with her. Finn said that he was going to tell Steffy at the right time. Steffy told Sheila that she didn't want to hear from her. Steffy reminded Finn that they'd already talked about this; Finn pointed out that Taylor was with Deacon.

Steffy reminded Finn that Sheila shot 1) Steffy, 2) Finn, and 3) Taylor. She couldn't do this. She felt like she was married to Finn's birth mother. "We're done," Steffy said. She took off her ring and shoved it at Finn. Steffy walked off in fear and anger.

Finn told Sheila that she should have stayed at the airport. She claimed that she tried to hide. Finn left, saying that he had to find Steffy. Meanwhile, Steffy was on a plane that was headed back to Los Angeles. Offered a glass of champagne, she took two!

Steffy flashed back to seeing Sheila's toes on a woman under a beach towel and revealing her. Meanwhile, Finn returned to the church, where they reunited. Finn heard the church bells. He felt horrible about what had happened.

Unforgettable Barbajuan

Ridge and Brooke arrived back at their hotel suite. She was a bit exasperated by all the questions about Katie and Logan Designs. Brooke was frustrated about the media's interest in Logan. Ridge told Brooke that she was handling media inquiries about Katie and Logan with grace. Brooke said that everyone should be as lucky as she is to have a great guy like Ridge by her side -- just like Finn is. Ridge noted that Finn was a good guy, unaware that Steffy was feeling very unsafe with him.

Ridge set up a romantic treat for Brooke with caviar and Barbajuan, the national dish of Monaco. Brooke thanked Ridge for spoiling her. Brooke dug into the caviar.

Later, Brooke, wearing a robe, playfully suggested to Ridge that they stay in Monaco forever. "It's the magic of Monaco," Brooke said. Ridge replied, "It's the magic of you." They kissed.

Back in Los Angeles, Daphne wrapped up a phone call in Eric's office when Carter entered. He suggested that they explore options regarding their family. They could adopt or not have kids at all. Daphne said she knew how much Carter wanted a family. He maintained they were going to get through this as husband and wife.

Daphne reminded Carter of her premature menopause. Carter said that she could carry another woman's egg or even carry a child of her own. Daphne said that her diagnosis was unfair. Carter said it was okay, but Daphne said that it wasn't.

Carter tried to embrace his wife, but she pushed him away. He asked why she was doing that. Daphne felt that she wasn't supposed to be a mother or even here, in Los Angeles, with Carter.

He told her that she had so much in L.A., including a life with him. Daphne sadly said that she didn't feel whole. She said her heart will never recover from this. She feels broken. Carter said that he felt her pain and her agony. "I do get it, and I'm trying to be here for you," he said.

Daphne told Carter that she loved him, but she felt unsure about so much. "Even our marriage?" Carter asked. Carter begged Daphne to stop pushing him away. She told him that if she stayed with him, then he'd never be a father. He implored her to realize that there were other options, other avenues.

"I need to go. I can't breathe. I need to get out of here," Daphne said. Carter told her that they'd go home. Daphne said that she was leaving and she was on her way back to Paris.
