At the Cliff House, Finn reminded Steffy that there would be no more secrets in their marriage moving forward. Steffy recalled Carter's voice asking her to keep what happened between them a secret.

Steffy asked Finn to stop being so effusive about his past misdeeds. Finn said he couldn’t say he was sorry enough. “We have both done things that we regret,” Steffy said without revealing her night with Carter. She said that she had done some bad things. Finn said that he didn’t need to know what Steffy did. He just wanted to remember their life before Monaco, where Sheila showed up with her 8 toes! Finn had to leave for the hospital. He kissed his wife, telling her the past was past. Steffy hugged her husband.

Carter nervously entered Eric’s office and told Ridge that he heard that Ridge wanted to see him. Ridge sternly closed his computer and said that they needed to talk about Steffy. Did Ridge know about the night Steffy and Carter spent together? Carter closed the door behind him.

Ridge said he didn’t know what he would have done if Steffy, while vulnerable, had fallen into the wrong hands. Carter looked at the sofa in Eric’s office that he and Steffy slept on. Ridge asked Carter if he’d seen Steffy. “No, not yet,” Carter said. Ridge said he was anxious to talk to her. Out of Ridge’s earshot, Carter said that he was, too.

Later, Steffy entered Eric’s office, where Carter was (by himself). Carter asked if Steffy had confessed about their night to Finn. She said she had not, but she wanted to. Steffy and Carter spoke in whispered tones as they recounted what happened in Monaco and how they reacted. “How am I supposed to keep this from him?” Steffy asked.

Carter said that he and Daphne are going to have a family, just like Steffy and Finn do. He said they can’t jeopardize that. Carter added that no one can know about their night together. “We have to take this to our graves,” Carter said.

Just then, Daphne knocked on the locked door. Carter opened it. Daphne told Steffy she didn’t realize that she was in there. Daphne asked Steffy if she was okay, as she seemed distraught. Then, she noted that Carter appeared distraught, too. She wondered if anything was going on between them.

Brooke and Taylor Find Common Ground

In the showroom, Brooke wondered what Taylor was doing there at Forrester Creations. Taylor explained that she needed to see Steffy. She appreciated Brooke’s concern and sympathy.

Brooke said she knew what it was like to be a mom who was worried about her daughter. Taylor said that she can’t help but wonder if Sheila had never shown up at Finn and Steffy’s wedding and revealed herself. Taylor said that Steffy reached her limit in Monaco, given Finn’s deception. She added that Finn has sworn off Sheila. Brooke said that she’d do whatever she could to help Steffy get through this, noting that Steffy also had Daphne and Carter for support.

Just then, Daphne walked in, and she pointed out that Steffy was her bestie. She thought of her as a sister. Daphne said Carter would do anything for Steffy. He admired her. Brooke said that the Forresters think of Daphne and Carter as family.

Daphne opened up about her premature menopause. Taylor and Brooke expressed sympathies. Daphne Rose said that she felt she was letting Carter down, and she recently lost her mind. She said that she took off her wedding rings and was leaving for Paris, but that she came back the next day. She said now, everything was fine.

Daphne said that she had a supportive husband, but that he was grieving. She called him faithful. Daphne Rose rhetorically asked how many wives can say they have faithful husbands. Brooke said that they were both very lucky that way. Taylor then brought up what Steffy went through in Monaco.

Daphne hoped that things got better for Steffy and Finn. Then, Ridge walked in and asked what they were all talking about. Daphne Rose said that there’s nothing that she can’t share with Steffy, and Carter has a special bond with her, too.

Finn Fesses Up

At the hospital, Finn brought Li up to speed on something that happened in Monaco, and that Sheila showed up after booking a seat on the same flight that he was on. Li and Finn agreed that what Sheila Carter wants, Sheila Carter takes. Finn said that Sehila booked the seat next to his. Li had a realization that she let Sheila know about his plans. She blamed herself, saying it was all her fault.

Li shared with Finn that she had left her computer on, and the webpage with Finn's flight info was still open. Finn shared that Steffy saw Sheila. He didn’t warn her that she was there (he didn’t want to ruin the moment, as Monaco was their special place).

Finn said that despite buying Sheila’s return ticket, she made her way to the beach, where she saw Steffy. Finn added that Steffy took her rings off and threw them at Finn. He has since sworn to her that Sheila will never be a part of their lives. Finn said he came close to losing Steffy, and he added that secrets destroy and that they always come out.
