On Monday's all-new episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Bill (Don Diamont) pushed for Eric (John McCook) to speed through his designs to help get Logan up and running. Katie's (Heather Tom) new fashion house can't launch without a complete collection, and as their lead designer, they need Eric to pick up the pace. The press and potential buyers have already caught wind of Katie's new venture, so the pressure is on for her to deliver in her debut. However, something Katie and Bill neglected to factor in is the toll that designing full-time might have on Eric's overall health and well-being.

Expect the walls to begin closing in for Eric on Tuesday's episode. Eric will suffer a breathing episode, which raises the question of whether Ridge. (Thorsten Kaye) was right about retirement being best for his father. Despite the optics of the forced retirement, Ridge claimed that he was simply looking out for Eric and his father's health. Although being ousted from the company Eric founded felt like the ultimate disrespect, perhaps Ridge wasn't entirely wrong in his thinking. If the pressure of the day-to-day grind is too much for Eric and causes this breathing incident, Eric might have to bow out.

Following Eric's breathing episode, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Donna begs Eric to seek medical treatment. Even if Eric elects not to go to a hospital, he has a slew of doctors at his disposal who could easily make a house call. Finn (Tanner Novlan) has treated Eric in the past, and although Eric wouldn't want Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in on his secret, that's one option. Also, Eric's daughter, Bridget (Ashley Jones), is a doctor, so he could loop her in if he really needed to.

Regardless of what Eric decides, his decision to design for Katie and withhold that information from Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge is going to blow up in his face. Not only is it likely to cause a significant blowout between him and his son, but it will further the rift between the Logan sisters. The tension between Brooke and Katie has grown worse with every development for Katie's new company. If Eric suffers a medical setback because he was designing for Katie's fledgling fashion house, it will only make things exponentially worse.
