The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for February 6, 2026, features Steffy spilling even more to Ridge about Taylor, while Sheila remains blissfully unaware of Deacon's actions.
What's next on The Bold and the Beautiful

On Thursday’s all-new episode, Steffy decided to bring Ridge into the loop about Taylor’s new man. At first, she described the mystery gentleman as a married man, which, although less than ideal, wasn’t that big of a deal. However, the vibe changed when Steffy revealed to her father that the new man in Taylor’s life was none other than Deacon Sharpe. Not only is Ridge not the biggest fan of Deacon, but his marriage to Sheila Carter places his loved ones directly in the line of fire.
Although Steffy didn’t dive too deep into their connection on Thursday, that is set to change on Friday’s episode. Expect Steffy to tell Ridge every last detail about Taylor’s growing feelings for Hope’s father and the ultimatum she put in front of her. Taylor’s options are quite simple. She can either carry on with Deacon and lose access to her family, or she can cut Deacon out of her life and remain a part of her grandchildren’s lives. For most, the choice would be cut and dry, but Taylor is struggling with how to proceed. She doesn’t want to lose her family, but she also refuses to let go of Deacon.
Taylor’s feelings for Deacon and the sudden love might be a direct result of Ridge abandoning her yet again for Brooke. Taylor appears so determined to break herself out of that toxic cycle that she’s willing to give up everything to put Ridge behind her. However, Ridge might become the very person who is able to ground Taylor back to reality and get her to see how reckless her actions have become.
Sheila and her rose colored glasses

Sheila is no closer to uncovering the truth on Friday’s episode, as she remains blissfully unaware of Deacon and Taylor’s forbidden love. Despite the late-night therapy sessions that are significantly outside of office hours, Sheila truly doesn’t seem to suspect that anything is going on between the two.
It’s a complete turnaround from how she initially reacted to Deacon seeking Taylor’s counsel about their marriage. When he first joined as a patient, Sheila stalked outside the office and witnessed an inappropriate embrace. Had she remained vigilant, perhaps she wouldn’t be so blind to what was going on now. Sheila's gut told her the truth, but she ignored it to save her marriage. Since reuniting with Deacon, Sheila has been shut out by Deacon's family, and now he's cutting her off emotionally. No amount of effort or change was enough for Deacon to remain faithful after agreeing to take her back.
Sheila spends nearly every episode touting Taylor’s talents and giving her all of the credit for saving her marriage. However, Sheila has no inkling that there is no marriage to speak of. Deacon has grown increasingly cold, and although Sheila has felt his distance, she hasn’t connected it to Taylor. As far as she knows, things are strictly professional between the two.
The embarassing part is that Sheila looks to be the last to know the fate of her marriage. Sheila is usually much smarter than this, so the oblivious persona she's portraying is somewhat jarring. This isn't the cold and calculated woman that's wreaked havoc on daytime for decades. Once she uncovers what's happening under her nose, the true Sheila is likely to emerge, and all of Steffy's greatest fears will come to life, and it all could have been avoided.
