Steffy knew what she was doing when she took Taylor's secret to Ridge. He immediately marched over to her office and caught Taylor and Deacon in the act. Ridge did what he always does and ordered them to stop immediately. This is set to continue on Monday's episode when Ridge demands that Deacon stay away from Taylor. Despite dropping Taylor in favor of Brooke for the millionth time, Ridge still believes that he has power over her decision-making.

Ridge has his hand in so many different pots across the canvas. He forced Eric into retirement, he is actively hating on Katie's new venture, and now he's meddling in Taylor's love life. Ridge should be focused on the couture line and taking Forrester to the next level, now that Eric is gone, but instead, this is how he's choosing to spend his time. Steffy already threatened to remove herself and her children from Taylor's life, so if that wasn't enough to kill the relationship, Ridge's barking won't either.

Deacon isn't going to take kindly to Ridge ordering him around, and the pushback could easily reignite a feud that has been put on ice for the last year. Steffy and Hope have shown flashes of their previous rivalry recently, and their fathers going to war with each other could be the catalyst to put them at odds again. Plus, Steffy and Hope already find themselves at polar opposite ends of the discourse surrounding Deacon and Taylor. Steffy is vehemently opposed to the coupling, and Hope is thrilled to see her dad without anyone but Sheila.

Sheila creates a spark

Sheila is growing increasingly desperate to reconnect with Deacon on an emotional level. On Monday's new episode, Sheila tries to surprise Deacon with a romantic gesture, but his mind has been solely focused on his secret kissing sessions with his favorite therapist. Every time Sheila has tried to speak to Deacon or flirt with her husband in any way, he's so distant that he might as well be located on another planet. Deacon's mind appears capable only of thinking about Taylor and the next time they can share a forbidden kiss.

The more time that passes without Sheila learning the truth about Deacon and Taylor, the more terrifying the fallout feels. Steffy has good reason to be concerned because viewers have seen the levels of violence that Sheila is capable of over the last three decades. Taylor has taken a bullet that nearly claimed her life, but she doesn't seem to be taking the threat of Sheila as seriously as she should. Every time Deacon rebuffs an attempt at reconnection, Sheila is going to grow increasingly suspicious.

Deacon and Taylor are operating on borrowed time, and she is a ticking bomb, waiting to explode on both of them. She is far more savvy than she's being given credit for, and eventually, the late-night sessions and their frequency won't make sense. All it takes is a little digging, and Sheila will have all of the proof she needs to plot her eventual revenge.
