What's next on The Bold and the Beautiful
R.J.'s return to Los Angeles has breathed new life into the young adult scene on The Bold and the Beautiful. Between R.J. coming home and Dylan entering the mix, the void created after Luna's death and Remy's apparent banishment has been somewhat filled. Aside from Brooke and Ridge, all of R.J.'s first scenes have been with Electra, and as evidenced on Monday's episode, a love triangle of sorts appears to be brewing.
In the closing moments of the episode, Will overheard R.J.'s line of questioning about his relationship with Electra. R.J. inquired about the impact that Luna had on the young couple, and it's likely this will boil over the following day. Considering that Tuesday's episode is set to focus on R.J. and Will's first face-to-face in several years, fireworks are going to explode. The Forresters and the Spencers have never quite seen eye-to-eye, and this would be far from the first time that the men of these families have feuded, and it almost always involves a woman.
R.J.'s intentions with Electra aren't entirely clear, and although he referenced their shared last name and familial ties, he still looks poised to make a move. Will and Electra barely survived the onslaught of Luna and her antics, and with Dylan lurking in the shadows as well, they might crumble under the pressure. Electra has displayed a tendency to position herself as the victim in a scenario, and with Will's family locked in a battle with R.J.'s, she might find herself supporting a fellow Forrester.
Battle lines are drawn
Will may have told Ridge on Monday's episode that he preferred to avoid family politics, but in the current climate, how realistic is that? His mother Katie and his aunt Brooke, have yet to find a way to coexist after the battle over the Logan name. Once word gets out about Eric jumping ship to design for Katie's new fashion, tensions are going to boil over even further, and people will be forced to take sides. The idea of Will remaining at Forrester while they actively work to destroy his mother's vision is unrealistic.

Ridge's disdain for Bill is understandable given their contentious past, but the way he spoke about Will's parents in front of him was distasteful. Bill has asked Will to come over to Spencer a few times now, and this could be the final straw. Also it doesn't feel like a coincidence that they started showing the safe for the Forrester jewelry. This version of RJ looks like he's up to no good, and looks like Will could end up taking the fall for a staged theft, so the Forrester heir could have a direct shot at Electra.
