On Thursday's all-new episode, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paid a visit to Hope (Annika Noelle) to question her about her unexpected break from the company. Steffy finally agreed to revive Hope for the Future after the launch of Eric's (John McCook) upcoming couture line. However, since Hope had heard that song and dance in the past, she wasn't inclined to believe that she wasn't simply being placated. There was no indication that this time was going to be any different, and she could not risk putting more time and effort into a collection that would never see the light of day.

Steffy is as perceptive as they come, which is why it shouldn't come as a shock that on Friday, she grows suspicious about Hope's leave of absence. If Steffy thinks back to the conversations with Hope that occurred leading up to her "temporary" departure, she will recall Hope alluding to taking her talents elsewhere. It wouldn't be a stretch that Hope would defect to the competition and join her aunt Katie (Heather Tom) at Logan. Katie has created somewhat of a safe haven for Forrester refugees, seeing a professional environment where they feel valued and their skills are utilized. Since Hope is likely still under contract, it could be a breach if she does any work for Logan prior to formally leaving Forrester.

The Logan Civil War escalates

Will's (Crew Morrow) firing from Forrester may have led him to join his parents at Logan, but that doesn't mean that Katie is going to accept the way her son was treated. She was concerned about Will's future at Forrester after she left the company to start her own fashion house, and it turns out she had good reason. R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti) was able to convince his father to give Will his walking papers, but it feels like there was much more to it. It felt inevitable, and Katie, once she stops blaming herself, will place the fault squarely on the shoulders of one woman.

Friday's episode will feature a showdown between sisters as battle lines are drawn between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie. This has been a long time coming because now it isn't just about business drama or the theft of the Logan name, it's about their children, making it more personal than ever. Will and Katie's conversation on Thursday about the way Brooke nearly destroyed their family with her pursuit of Bill (Don Diamont) might also add more fuel to the fire, sending Katie and Brooke on a collision course with long-overdue scores to settle.
