Taylor (Rebecca Budig) should be eternally grateful that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) didn't catch a glimpse of Deacon (Sean Kanan) in her bedroom while she held that massive knife. Things could've been a lot worse for Taylor, but instead of Taylor meeting an untimely end, she had an uncomfortable encounter with her lover's wife on Monday's episode about self-pleasure. It was a temporary relief for Taylor, but it appears as if time is running out for her and Deacon's dirty little secret. Spoilers indicate that Sheila's suspicions continue to grow on Tuesday's all-new episode.

Sheila spotted the Il Giardino pizza box on her way out of Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) house, and her face made it clear that something left her unsettled. She might have accepted Taylor's explanation in the moment, but the more she puts all the pieces together, the clearer the picture will become. Deacon's late-night therapy sessions and his inability to sexually commit to her will begin to come into focus. Usually, where there's smoke, there's fire, and things have been ablaze around Sheila for quite a while, and it's time for her to stop being oblivious. Sheila is one of the most iconic soap opera villains for a reason, and it's long overdue for her to be once again written as such.

Steffy puts her foot down

Steffy has made her position about Deacon and Taylor's romantic connection abundantly clear. She wants Deacon nowhere near her mother, and she's gone to extremes to keep them apart. Steffy issued an ultimatum, warning Taylor that continuing to flirt with the temptation of Deacon would cost her a relationship with her grandchildren. However, even the threat of losing her family hasn't been enough to keep Taylor from jumping into bed with her former patient. Expect things to heat up between the mother/daughter duo on Tuesday as Steffy learns what happened in her house while she was away.

Official spoilers for Tuesday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful tease that Steffy is furious when she learns what happened, and she has good reason to be. Steffy's number one fear has been the potential harm to Taylor if Sheila ever discovered that she and Deacon were romantically involved. Steffy's nightmare almost became a reality when Sheila broke into Taylor's bedroom with a knife, expecting to find someone assaulting her. Taylor may have talked her way out of it in the moment, but if Sheila was willing to resort to that type of violence without knowing the truth, what would she do if she was privy to the intimate details? Will Steffy's fury be enough to keep her mother from going down a potential path of death and destruction?
