The Bold and the Beautiful What-to-Watch Moments, May 11: Brooke pushes for control as Donna seeks peace

Last week's episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful perfectly positioned Hope (Annika Noelle) to get back at Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) by using Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) as a vehicle of revenge. Suddenly, Brooke wants to take her place as the co-CEO of Forrester next to her husband, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Brooke hasn't expressed any desire as of late to take charge at Forrester Creations, but with Hope planting the idea in her head and the chance to go head-to-head with Katie (Heather Tom), how could she pass it up? Brooke can now directly squash her little sister's dreams rather than make idle threats.

Spoilers tease that Brooke makes Ridge an offer he can’t refuse on Monday's all-new episode, which could spell doom for Steffy's tenure as co-CEO. Despite the work that Steffy has put into making Forrester Creations a smooth sailing ship, if Brooke gets her way (and she usually does), Steffy will be out of a job. Although she would remain at Forrester in some capacity, it's difficult to imagine a productive work environment if her father actually demotes her in favor of his wife. However, if that offer is that good, Brooke might be one step closer to securing Hope For The Future a one-way ticket back to relevancy.

Is there hope for the Logan family's future?

Katie dropped a bombshell on her other sister, Donna (Jennifer Gareis), on Friday's episode, revealing that she was considering bringing Hope to Logan as the face of her next collection. Donna was vehemently against the idea, fearing that Katie was actively tearing their family apart. Eric (John McCook) was one thing, but luring Brooke's own daughter to the competition might cross the line of no return. Expect Donna to continue trying to talk Katie out of her idea on Monday , urging her to put family before business. The Logan family is entirely in shambles at the moment, and Hope's defection to Logan could be the final straw that breaks them forever.

Aside from Katie being unsure of what to do about Hope, Hope herself is also on the fence about how to proceed. Spoilers indicate that Liam is concerned Hope is second-guessing her future, which means she might not be going anywhere after all. Hope wouldn't have made a play for her mother to become the new co-CEO if a part of her wasn't still hoping that Hope For The Future could be thrust back into the spotlight under new leadership. Liam is convinced that Hope is unfairly treated at Forrester, but if Hope is considering sticking it out, in the hopes that Brooke can make a difference, she might squander the last real chance that she has at success.
