The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Rehash, June 1: Electra was way too calm after Will's firing

The Bold and the Beautiful's Electra spent months caught in the middle of a messy love triangle and things devolve between Will and R.J. However, on the June 1, 2026, edition of the soap, Electra learned that Will was fired for assaulting R.J., and she barely reacted. She always has something to say, so why wasn't she more up in arms over this?

The Bold and the Beautiful's Electra should have been furious

On Monday's all-new episode, Electra (Laneya Grace) finally learned that Will (Crew Morrow) punched R.J. before they left Bikini. The entire fight only existed because both men are vying for her affections. Neither believes that the other is good enough for her. In the past, Electra has blasted Will for keeping secrets from her, specifically when he was sexually assaulted by Luna (Lisa Yamada), and she didn't learn about it until after the fact. She keeps saying that she doesn't want men fighting over her, so why did she have such a subdued reaction to finding out about this?

R.J. was one of the only people that Electra was able to lean on during her issues with Dylan (Sydney Bullock), so it's sort of surprising that she didn't have more to say about this. Also, Will assaulting someone that had ridden so hard for her in the past should have elicited more of a reaction. There was no anger. There was no disappointment even. She normally would have gone through a series of questions and somehow made herself the victim like she's done so many times, so why did she accept Will's explanation with no pushback? Something isn't adding up.

Distance from Dylan

While Electra might not have approved of Will's actions toward R.J., the outcome with Will getting fired could actually somehow work in her favor. With Will no longer employed by Forrester, he won't be working alongside Dylan anymore, which would relieve one of Electra's biggest concerns about their relationship. Electra was all too quick to let this situation go, and it must be because of the distance it's going to put between her boyfriend and her best friend. If Will is out of Dylan's orbit, there won't be as many chances for jealousy or even small misunderstandings to threaten their happiness.

For Electra, it's entirely plausible that she feels like the benefits to Will being removed from Forrester outweigh any of the drawbacks. She is potentially thinking about what is best for her relationship, and that might not necessarily be what is best for Will in the long run. Dylan was a thorn in Electra's side for months when she was living in his guest house, so this is the perfect chance for her to ensure that they have limited contact moving forward. It's disappointing that the young lovers won't be working together, but for Electra, this might just be for the best.
