Dylan finally admitted on Tuesday's episode that she still found herself drawn to Will and imagining a future together. However, she did not tell someone that has her best interest in mind. Instead, she confessed everything to R.J., who has consistently interfered in Will and Electra's relationship with the intent of keeping them apart. Thanks to Dylan, R.J. now has a piece of information that he can use to drive another wedge between the newly reconciled couple. R.J. won't be simply satisfied with getting Will fired from Forrester Creations. He won't rest until Electra leaves his cousin for him.
R.J. was looking for a way to push Will away from Electra from the beginning, and once they got back together, it was only a matter of time before he found an opening. Dylan was trying to be vulnerable, but by leading with honesty, she might have made things far worse for Will and Electra. She shared such a personal moment with a person who is leading with his own agenda, and it was the riskiest move she could've made. He is going to use her as a pawn to get what he wants, and she could end up having her heart be collateral damage. She might as well have handed the Forrester heir a roadmap to emotionally manipulating her.
R.J. and Dylan may be more alike than they realize
To R.J.'s credit, Dylan was just as disappointed that Will and Electra moved in together as he was. Both have significant unresolved feelings about the couple, with R.J. desperate to be with Electra and Dylan still pining away after Will. For the first time, they openly connected over their frustrations, and now it's clear that they share a vested interest in ensuring the failure of Will and Electra's relationship. Whether it was unintentional or not on R.J.'s end, he has perfectly positioned himself as Dylan's greatest potential ally.

It's possible that they won't team up and enter into a scheme together, but at the very least, they're going to lean on each other and fuel their worst instincts. Dylan just planted the seeds for a partnership that she has absolutely no business being a part of. Nobody needs a job at Forrester Creations more than she does, and while Will would probably get his mother to give her a job at Logan, she can't risk it. If she does one wrong thing that R.J. doesn't like, what is stopping him from using his leverage at the company and getting his daddy to fire her? This has all of the makings of something that will inevitably cause the downfall of Miss Dylan.
