The Bold and the Beautiful's Deacon and Taylor made their official debut outing as a couple for the opening of Bikini. On the May 25, 2026, edition of the soap, Deacon and Taylor's fun night out felt like a precursor to something far more sinister on the horizon.

Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) are finally back into the spotlight as a couple after completely vanishing from the storyline after Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) learned about their affair. There was so much buildup to the reveal that they were together, but then, poof, once it was exposed, nothing came of it. No consequences. No follow up with Sheila. Absolutely nothing. While it was nice to see Sheila get mentioned and the potential ramifications they might face for their affair, their first public outing as a couple left a lot to be desired.

Deacon and Taylor hanging out with Sheila's estranged son Finn (Tanner Novlan) felt like unnecessary salt in the wound on today's episode. While it's true that Taylor is Finn's mother-in-law, did he have to tag along for opening night and celebrate the achievement of his biological mother's husband? All everyone claimed they wanted from Sheila was proof that she'd changed as a person, and instead of giving her the chance to prove herself, Deacon and Taylor pushed her closer to her limit. Even when she still chose to showcase growth and maturity, she's constantly maligned by Finn and everyone else.

The biggest thing of note during Deacon's big night at Bikini was the random sidebar that Sheila evidently has a new roommate. Who would be willing to room with someone that many view as unstable and irredeemable? Only a few names come to mind right away, such as Li (Naomi Matsuda) and Remy (Christian Weissmann). Li is rarely on the canvas as of late, but Remy recently made a grand return, revealing himself to be the cousin of Miss Dylan (Sydney Bullock). Since Deke (Harrison Cone) and Remy no longer live together following their breakup, Remy needing a roommate could make a lot of sense.

Both of them are desperate to get back in the good graces of the Sharpe men, and perhaps they can work together to achieve that goal. Although on the surface, Remy and Sheila appear to be a nightmare duo, they could actually accomplish a lot by putting their nefarious brains together. Deacon, Taylor, and Deke should be very concerned about what could be coming their way if this is who Sheila's decided to room with.
