The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, April 7: The one thing Deacon and Taylor never thought about

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Throughout Deacon and Taylor's absolutely ridiculous insta-love story, all they have cared about is the danger they would be in if Sheila ever discovered their little clandestine affair. That didn't stop them from hopping into bed at Steffy's house and planning more rendezvous. As we expected, it turned out they didn't have to worry about that after all. What they should have been thinking about was what Sheila would feel like when she learned that her husband had decided to betray her with someone she trusted, and that someone was more concerned for her safety than becoming the third person in someone else's troubled marriage. One would think after all that Taylor had been through with Ridge for literally decades that she might care about how Sheila would feel to know she had been cheated on, but that didn't seem to cross her mind. Instead, she treated Sheila like a child as she tried to make a grand bargain with her. Clearly, Deacon, who moved heaven and Earth to find Sheila two years ago when he thought she was dead, also didn't think about the fact that he would be breaking this woman's heart when he just couldn't resist Taylor's apparent irresistibility. Good for Sheila for both letting out her rage (safely) and telling both Deacon and Taylor that she was a person who actually counted as they planned more lies and deceit.
