The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, February 16: Why Katie's 'Logan' is destined to fail

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

Katie Logan has grand designs (pun intended) of taking over the fashion industry with her very own fashion house (gifted to her by Dollar Bill Spencer, of course). She even has the perfect designer to lead her company to success, but that might be all she has. She can't get the silk or other materials her designer wants because her designer insists on keeping is work a secret. But she also doesn't seem to have the wherewithal to make things happen. Bill is the cutthroat businessman. Eric is the creative force. And Katie is just the girl who wants to please them both. In fact, it feels like she wants to please Eric and make an old man happy more than she wants to please her own husband or launch a successful company. She is willing to give in to Eric's many demands and whims because she seems to think that she needs him just to branch out on her own. But is Katie really branching out on her own if she can't quit Eric Forrester? While we love the idea of Eric sticking it to Ridge for forcing him to retire, maybe it wasn't such a good idea for Eric to join the competition after all. Katie might have a big decision to make soon, but can she do it?
