Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
It's hard to remember that Hope and Liam oddly got married again when they've barely shared a scene together for the last two months since their Spencer living room wedding. (It's always a living room wedding or it wouldn't be The Bold and the Beautiful.) Just after their wedding, Hope was back at work and dealing with Thomas. We thought we'd get another Lope-Thope triangle, but nope. We got nothing. Until today. Which was also nothing. You wouldn't have even known they were married from this silly little throwaway scene in the design office, where they seemed more like brother and sister than husband and wife. (And why did Liam refer to Eric as Hope's grandfather when he...not her grandfather?) Then again, they have always seemed more like brother and sister than husband and wife — and that was half the problem. It took Bill reminding us they were married again to remember that fact. We are not even sure why they are married again when they don't seem to be in love at all, never share love scenes, and barely even kiss. If Thomas would just stick around, they could have a story, but without him, what can even be done with Lope 2.0, a couple so dull and ho-hum that the audience barely notices when we don't see them together for two months?
