Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

When Dollar Bill first gifted that beach house to Will after what happened there last summer, all we could think about was what happened there last summer. We were glad the show acknowledged it in passing, but it then moved the girl who was held at gunpoint and locked in a closet into that house — and then it got weird. Dylan seems to have no post-trauma at all from that incident, or does she? Maybe that's why she seems as creepy as she does. But how creeped out were you when Hayes pretty much appeared out of nowhere? That just brought all sorts of memories for us, even if it didn't for Dylan. (We'll just assume nobody told Hayes that his half-sister shot his former stepfather and biological grandma there, after locking his teacher in a closet and holding his mother hostage.) We were brought back to the days of Miss Sunshine, Dylan's ditziness, and that weird fortune teller that Steffy and Taylor just couldn't figure out. Maybe when you have a massacre on a set that's not used every day, you need to just get rid of that set and start over. Or just don't recycle sets and use a beach house as a preschool art school for no reason. Then, maybe fans could get behind a story because the house the story takes place in won't make our skin crawl.
