The Bold and the Beautiful Daily YAPP Recap, March 27: Hope really shouldn't be sanctioning adultery

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

While adultery is de riguer for soaps, there is something painful about watching a character who was cheated on umpteen times cheer it on. We get that Hope thinks her father is better off with Taylor, but maybe Deacon should have told his wife this before he decided to sleep with Sheila and have his daughter agree to be his alibi. In fact, watching Taylor participate in adultery was also galling. How many times did Liam cheat on Hope with Steffy? Too many to count. And how many times did Ridge cheat on Taylor with Brooke? Also, too many times to count. Yet, neither of these women could think about what they felt like when they learned their husband broke their wedding vows and betrayed them. Taylor also needs to check herself because just a few months ago, she was declaring her undying love for Ridge while fighting tooth and nail for Brooke to just leave Ridge alone so she could marry Ridge. Now, she loves Deacon as she has never loved another man. Does she even hear herself? The entire Deacon and Taylor "romance" has been a debacle from beginning to end, but listening to Hope gossip that her dad was about to cheat on his wife with glee was the most, when this story has given the least.
