The Bold and the Beautiful's Ivy is in scheming mode, all out of love for Electra. But what exactly is driving her to be so conniving? Why doesn't she want Electra to be with Will? Does she have a hidden agenda, something that her niece would be livid about if she only knew?
Ivy's mysterious behavior on The Bold and the Beautiful

Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) has spent the past few weeks sneaking around and lurking about Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful. Shockingly, no one ever catches her, which makes no sense, considering that many other FC employees have been walking around the building. The two female interns, Will (Crew Morrow), Electra (Laneya Grace), Daphne (Murielle Hilaire), and RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) have all been breezing through the halls of FC. Why don't any of them catch Ivy hiding in the doorways and spying on others?
Daphne did catch Ivy putting Electra's letter to Will in her purse, and based on the clips for this week, Ivy is going to warn Daphne to keep quiet about it. Why is Ivy trying so hard to keep Will and Electra apart?
Furthermore, why the heck is she trying to pair up Electra and RJ (Brayan Nicoletti)? Considering how concerned she is about everything being "proper," doesn't she find the prospect of Electra and RJ as a couple improper? They are still cousins, even though they're not blood-related.
Could Electra be Ivy's daughter, not her niece?

Some fans of The Bold and the Beautiful speculate that Ivy may really be Electra's mother, not her aunt, and that could be why she is so protective of Electra. That would be an interesting revelation, if it's true. It seems like half the characters in soaps don't know who their biological parents are, and then they turn out to be related to someone who is on the canvas. This might be one of those cases.
But who could Electra's father be? It couldn't possibly be Liam (Scott Clifton), because he is Will's brother. If Liam is Electra's biological father, then that would mean Will is Electra's uncle. And that means there is no way Ivy would have let Electra become physically intimate with Will last year, when Electra was first considering sleeping with him. Ivy would have likely told her the truth before anything happened. We realize that B&B is well-known for putting together two people who have family ties, but we've never seen it happen between two people who are actually blood-related (and we hope we never do).
Are Ivy's schemes motivated by Liam's last rejection?

Last year on The Bold and the Beautiful, Ivy put her heart on the line when she confessed to Liam (Scott Clifton) that she wanted to get back together with him. He rejected her and chose to reunite with Hope (Annika Noelle) instead. Is Ivy still stinging from the pain of that rejection, and maybe she fears that Will is going to follow in his brother's footsteps and break Electra's heart as well? Could that be what's driving her to keep Electra and Will apart?
The night Ivy rushed over to Will's beach house and spied on him and Dylan (Sydney Bullock) together, she was supposed to be nursing a bad cold. But when she lurked around outside and peeked through the window, she didn't look or sound sick at all. She wasn't sniffling, blowing her nose, sneezing, coughing, or doing anything that suggested she was sick. Was she using a fake illness as an excuse to stay in L.A., while Electra went on her trip, and then she could report to Electra that something "improper" happened between Will and Dylan?
It just feels like there's more to Ivy's machinations than simply trying to protect her niece. We're getting the impression that she has a secret agenda, and if Electra finds out about it, she will be furious. What could the secret possibly be? Tell us what you think in the comments section! Whatever strangeness is going on with Ivy, let's hope it comes to light in the upcoming weeks on B&B.
