The Bold and the Beautiful writers gave us a funny and suspenseful Friday cliffhanger episode of Sheila bursting in on Deacon and Taylor in bed together. Facebook fans are reacting to the tension and goofiness of the episode.
Sheila to the rescue on The Bold and the Beautiful

Friday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful gave us the kind of cliffhanger that we haven't seen since the 1970s and 80s, when primetime soaps like Dallas had summer season finales that left us on tenterhooks until fall.
While Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) were upstairs in bed, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) entered Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) house and mistook Taylor's moans of ecstasy for cries of peril. She grabbed a kitchen knife and headed upstairs to save Taylor from what she thought was a dangerous situation. Facebook fans were amused by the blend of humor and suspense in the scene.
"I heard the 'Jaws' theme song in my head," one fan said.
Another fan replied, "I was hearing the shower scene from 'Psycho.'"
"If that wasn't the most ridiculous scene," one fan said. "She hears moaning coming from an upstairs bedroom where music is playing, and the first thing she thinks is Taylor's in trouble." That post garnered hundreds of likes and laughter emojis.
Another fan remarked, "Locked doors would have prevented all of this." Many other fans agreed, as the comment garnered over 400 likes and laughter emojis.
It was a crazy scene, as one fan asked, "In what universe would you let yourself in someone's home and then go upstairs because you hear a noise like that?"
One fan replied, "Quinn did it when she walked in on Wyatt and Katie, and then Brooke did it when she walked in on Hope and Thomas."
"Ridge didn't have Taylor moaning like that," one fan observed. "Go, Deacon!"
Isn't that the truth? As much as she loved Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), we're hard-pressed to remember a time when he got her that excited in bed!
"I thought they were going to have Taylor scream, 'Oh, Deacon!'" another fan said.
Some of us were thinking the same thing! Then, Sheila could have gone home and planned her revenge, without them even knowing she'd been there and heard it.
Did Deacon hide before Sheila busted down the door?

Some The Bold and the Beautiful fans speculate that Deacon hid himself before Sheila charged into the bedroom.
"Deacon had time to get in the closet between the door handle jiggling and the kick in," one fan explained.
"Deacon is hiding under the bed!" another fan said.
"It'll keep going as a secret. LOL," still another fan said. "I bet when she screamed Taylor's name, Deacon hid under the bed, and Sheila came in and saw Taylor in bed. They make it look as if she's looking at them both."
"I wish we could have seen exactly what Sheila walked in on," one fan said.
That's what made it an exciting cliffhanger. As the saying goes, always leave them wanting more!
"Wow! Sheila's the boss," another fan marvelled. "Kicked in the door like a pro. Not fair. I wanted to see Deacon and Taylor's faces when she came in."
Will Steffy come home unexpectedly?

As we often see in soaps, characters come home unexpectedly because they forgot something important. Will Steffy come home to find this messy situation playing out? If she does, it will be a nightmare of epic proportions! She'll be furious that Taylor lied about being done with Deacon — and then went behind her back and took advantage of the family's camp-out on the beach. Will Taylor's spectacularly poor judgment destroy their mother/daughter bond for good?
Facebook fans can't wait until Steffy finds out what's going on!
"Steffy's house is open for everyone!" one fan joked.
"If you think Sheila is mad," another fan said, "wait till Steffy finds out it happened in her house!" Others agreed, as that post received over 300 likes and laughter emojis.
One fan replied, "I can't wait to see Steffy and Sheila team up to let Taylor and Deacon have it."
"And now Finn, Steffy, and the kids will come home," one fan predicted.
Taylor will be mortified if not only Steffy but her son-in-law, Finn (Tanner Novlan), and her grandchildren, Kelly (Sophia Paras McKinley) and Hayes (Bryan David Garlick), return. Of course, it would have made too much sense if Taylor and Deacon had checked into a hotel, right? Now, we need to wait until Monday to find out whether Deacon was smart enough to hide. Stay tuned, B&B fans!
