On The Bold and the Beautiful, we've become accustomed to hearing various nicknames throughout the years. Some of them get on our nerves, while others make us laugh. Here are four B&B character nicknames that crack us up, some in a good way and others not so good:
The Dressmaker on The Bold and the Beautiful

Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has absolutely no regard for Ridge or what he does for a living, so when he calls Ridge the dressmaker, he means it in a negative way. And yet, Bill gifted his wife, Katie (Heather Tom), her own fashion house. Go figure!
Maybe Bill's attitude toward Ridge stems from the fact that Ridge has a history of acting cocky, arrogant, and narcissistic. Then again, Bill has all of those same characteristics. Perhaps that's why he doesn't like Ridge. The two men have a lot in common. And let's not forget, they both have a history of being playboys. Heck, they've both been with two of the Logan sisters -- Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie.
Ridge always gets his feathers ruffled just knowing that there are other handsome men on the B&B canvas. He never liked Clarke Garrison (Daniel McVicar) or James Warwick (Ian Buchanan). He doesn't like Deacon (Sean Kanan) either. Bill isn't the only handsome man Ridge has hated, and he certainly won't be the last.
The Clown

Of course, it wouldn't be fun if Ridge didn't have a nickname for Bill as well. He likes to call Bill a clown once in a while, because he doesn't take him seriously. We must admit, Bill gets to utter some of the best and most humorous lines on The Bold and the Beautiful. We will never forget the time he described Brooke as a "relationship pinball machine." That one was hard to top!
So, even though Ridge hates Bill, we think even he finds some of Bill's zingers comical and priceless, and maybe that's why he calls him a clown. Maybe Ridge is jealous. After all, when was the last time we heard him say anything funny?
The world-renowned psychiatrist

Many of The Bold and the Beautiful characters refer to Taylor (Rebecca Budig) as a world-renowned psychiatrist. Some fans scratch their heads in wonder over that description, considering that we never see any patients in her office. Other than her past therapy sessions with Deacon and her talks with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), who walks in unannounced and most times doesn't even knock, we have to assume that Taylor does have other patients. But it would be nice to see one leaving her office once in a while. We're not even sure that Taylor has a receptionist. Perhaps she could offer Dylan (Sydney Bullock) that job?
We also wonder how many world-renowned psychiatrists have broken their code of ethics and become romantically involved with a married patient or ex-patient.
My Destiny

This is the one that gets under the B&B fans' skin the most -- or maybe just the anti-Bridge fans' skin. Brooke loves to call Ridge her destiny, especially when the two are apart because of some misunderstanding, and she feels like she needs hope to hang on to.
Many fans wonder how in the world she can call him her destiny when they've been married and divorced numerous times over the past three decades. Not only that. They've also broken up over countless misunderstandings that could have easily been straightened out if they had simply talked, like normal couples do. Other times, one of them caught the other one kissing someone else. If they are meant to be destiny, then why do all of these incidents keep getting in the way of their happiness together?
And as far as the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle goes, forget it. Diehard B&B fans who have watched the show since the beginning know that the woman who was Ridge's TRUE destiny was not Brooke or Taylor. His true destiny was Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson), Bill's sister. Ridge was in love with Caroline from the very first episode, before he even met Brooke. Taylor (played by Hunter Tylo then) hadn't even arrived on the canvas yet and wouldn't arrive until three years later. In the early years, the triangle was Ridge, Caroline, and Brooke. Ridge chose to marry Caroline, and she became his first wife.
He was very happy with her, so much so that he gifted her a charm bracelet, with each charm symbolizing the special times they were not going to have a chance to share because she was dying from leukemia. Ridge (played by Ronn Moss then) even stated once that if Caroline were still alive, he believed they would still be married. And there you have it, straight from the horse's mouth. Caroline was meant to be Ridge's true destiny, if not for her death.
