The Bold and the Beautiful: Four reasons Brooke shouldn't try to seduce Bill as revenge against Katie

The Bold and the Beautiful's Brooke has been making threatening remarks to her sister, Katie, now that Katie showed Eric's designs at Logan's launch. Obviously, the first thought that goes through our heads is, "Will Brooke try to seduce Bill as revenge?" Here are four reasons why she shouldn't do that.

Brooke will lose Ridge on The Bold and the Beautiful

Last year, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) reunited with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) for what felt like the millionth time. She has to know how ridiculous it would be if she made a play for Bill (Don Diamont) — and Ridge found out about it. She finally has "her destiny" back. Why would she want to risk losing him again just because she's annoyed at her sister and wants to prove a point?

Plus, B&B fans already anticipate that if she goes after Bill, then Ridge will run to Taylor (Rebecca Budig), as he always does whenever he and Brooke have problems. We've been through this endless merry-go-round for about 35 years now. Enough is enough! The only remotely entertaining aspect of that scenario is that it would be funny to see whether Taylor says, "Deacon who?" She'll likely forget all about Deacon (Sean Kanan) the minute Ridge flirts with her again.

Brooke will lose the respect of her son, RJ

RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) can't stand Bill as it is. If Brooke were to make a pass at Bill, and if RJ found out, then surely, he would be upset with her for betraying his father, Ridge. When RJ returned home in January, he was thrilled that his parents had remarried. Hopefully, he would put Brooke on blast for breaking up the marriage, especially so soon after she and Ridge reunited.

The only positive side to this is that it would give RJ something else to do besides tear into Will (Crew Morrow) and accuse him of doing things he didn't do. Watching first cousins RJ and Will fight is not entertaining. They are family. Shouldn't they at least try to get along?

Katie could end up suffering another heart attack

Katie's portrayer, Heather Tom, has been knocking it out of the park in this storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her scenes with Katherine Kelly Lang have been phenomenal and filled with intense emotion. These two talented actresses play off each other so well. We especially loved when Katie reminded Brooke that she was there for her every time Ridge broke her heart, and Katie said it right in front of Ridge. He looked away in shame. He needed to hear that hard truth about himself. Now that's entertainment and we want more!

When Brooke and Katie had their private conversation last week after the dinner at Brooke and Ridge's house, we could feel the weight of the pain that Brooke and Bill put Katie through when they had their affair years ago. "It will always live between us," Katie said. "Always!" Even though she loves Brooke, it must be nearly impossible for any sister to completely get over that kind of betrayal.

Katie has already suffered through enough heart problems in the past. If Brooke goes after Bill again, then Katie will be devastated. What if that devastation causes her to suffer another heart attack? Brooke would have to live with the guilt of knowing that her actions caused it, compounded by the pain that she already caused Katie when she slept with Bill the first time.

Brooke's relationship with Katie may become fractured beyond repair

The Logan women have always managed to resolve their family disputes over the years. But considering the fact that Brooke and Katie are already at odds because Katie used the Logan name and Eric's designs, their relationship will become even more fractured if Brooke makes a play for Bill. It likely could become broken beyond repair.

Brooke knows that Katie still harbors resentment toward her over her first affair with Bill, which happened over a decade ago. If Brooke truly loves Katie, then she has to realize that any more passes she makes at Bill will only create more problems between her and Katie. She may end up losing Katie for good.

So, if Brooke wants revenge, then let's hope she thinks of a better way to get it than relying on her usual seduction routine. Over the course of the past thirty-something years, we've seen enough of Brooke in sex-kitten mode to last us a lifetime. Let's hope she remains true to Ridge and doesn't go after Bill again.
