On The Bold and the Beautiful, a simple night of babysitting turned into whole lot more as Ivy’s weird spying could threaten to push Will and Dylan into a closer bond.
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

The tension in Malibu reached a boiling point. I’m kidding, it wasn’t as much tense as it was ridiculous when Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) decided to play Miss Sherlock Holmes. Watching from the shadows, she looked more predatory than sleuth (see attached photo for a laugh) and misinterpreted this moment of genuine vulnerability between Will (Crew Morrow) and Dylan (Sydney Bullock). While Will was busy unloading all the trauma of the Spencer-Forrester feud and his dramatic history with Luna (Lisa Yamada), Dylan provided the one thing that Electra (Laneya Grace) apparently cannot: a judgment-free safe zone.

Will admitted that he feels like a burden to Electra, which happens to be a massive red flag for their relationship. The man is tired of walking on eggshells with Electra, and Dylan’s presence offers him a much needed break from the constant pressure of having to live up to the Spencer name. The chemistry between them is undeniable and it is fueled by their shared understanding of what it feels like to be an outsider. When Ivy cornered Dylan in her bedroom and demanded that she leave town, she just made one of the biggest mistakes of her life. Dylan is currently unemployed and struggling to find her footing, making her dangerous and with very few options. Instead of scaring her off, Ivy’s aggressive accusations of "playing house" will more than likely just fire things up for her. This is how villain arcs begin. (I've seen to many Marvel movies)

Dylan won't go meekly into the night. If she is already being branded as a homewrecker for simply handing Will a towel, maybe she has nothing left to lose by actually pursuing him. By making herself Dylan’s enemy, Ivy has somply given Dylan a reason to fight back and a huger reason to stay put. If Dylan’s motivation to snag Will was previously dormant, Ivy’s ultimatum just gave her all the motivation to turn those sparks into focused intent. Meanwhile, Electra remains oblivious (no surprises here) to the storm brewing at home, focusing instead on Will's job security at Forrester. She is worried about his career, but in my honest opinion, she should be focused on the emotional distance growing between them. If she lets Ivy handle her "dirty work," she risks being the victim (again) of a situation she could have prevented by simply showing up for her partner.
